Rustic Cabin with Fabulous Water Views
This cabin is very rustic and at the end of a gravel road in a remote location. The water views of Winter Harbor are expansive, beautiful, and calming. The wildlife (birds, bunnies, fawns, and crabs) provides plenty of entertainment. Also an interesting white deer can be seen in the neighborhood. As for the cabin, we slept in the downstairs BR and the double bed was comfortable. Downstairs stayed a near steady comfortable 72°F in July. I think the temperature upstairs was probably okay too with it's window air conditioner although I was only up there twice. The real downside to this otherwise marvellous rental is the smelly tap water and very wimpy water pressure. We hand washed all our dishes so don't know how the dishwasher functions. Also didn't use the washer/dryer. All in all, we found this place a special spot for relaxing and feeling a nice breeze while we ate some seafood on the deck.

Rustic cabin on the Rivah!
As you can see in the pictures you walk straight out the front door onto the dock. We had a great weekend here. Caught a few fish and dozens of crabs, which I enjoy more than the fishing. This is a cabin. Nothing fancy. If you want fancy then go somewhere else. But it has everything you need. The host is easy to communicate with and very helpful. It’s a wonderful place to spend a few days, clear your mind and get reacquainted with family. We WILL be back.

Great place, highly reccommend.
We are two very active folks in our 70s who like somewhat remote places yet still have basic comforts. We were able to kayak 4 out of our 7 days thanks to good weather. Twice from the launch site at cabin and twice at other launch sites. The kitchen was absolutely the most well-equipped we have in our many VRBOs. Even a collander, which is usualy missing. Robert, our host, was almost instantly available to us via phone/text if we had any questions. We found short trips into Matthews and Gloucester easy to do and while we generally cook in, there were decent restaurants between those two towns. Although we brought out bikes, we did not use them as all the roads, while in good shape, are very narrow and without shoulders making it somewhat risky. Checking in was simple as was departure. Were there bugs? Of course, it's summer, on the water and around salt water marshes, but we had only twice when we had to use repellent. There are marsh crabs (one inch long) that inhabit many surfaces outside the cabin, but quickly run away as you walk the dock and deck. Water pressure is low, but that's not a big deal. It works.

Onemo Cabin
Property and location were good. Secluded which we wanted. Cabin was cluttered with toys, books and water toys. The place was very dusty, bathroom and kitchen were very dirty. We were told the power had been off before arriving - there were many food items in the refrigerator that were quite old and probably spoiled with no power. We spent 3 nights, then the air conditioners quit working. Called the owner, he said "Oh No". Did not offer any help. We left with 4 days remaining. Much too hot to stay . Had to cut our vacation 4 days short. No refund has been offered. This could be an outstanding getaway , if some changes occurred.
