The cottage was a really nice place to stay. It is very remote in that you need to drive 10 minutes down some small back roads. Bye the way the first time we went there the Sat Nav took down some dirt roads, which where okay for a 4X4, but our car wasn't, So if you find yourself in that position request an alternative route. Okay, the not so good points: The dish washer wasn't working. The host knows about this and is sorting things out. Also there was only one rack in the oven, which made things hard to cook when more than one item needed at same time (For example: The Pizza and Garlic Bread). The only other bad point, which the host has no control over, was there was no water in the lake, due to the very dry spring in France that year. This was 2026, which if your remember there had been many forest fires to the South. I had imagined myself sitting on the jetty over the lake in the evening drinking a few beers and fishing. Well most likely not catching any fish as I never do (Fishing licence required and you must stop 1 hour after sunset). This image doesn't work so well without any water. Anyway the cottage was great and the host was most helpful. One other comment: Your are limited in the food your can take in France from the UK (and the other way) and the shop are almost totally close on Sunday. Therefore you need to purchase two days of food (Saturday And Sunday) in France before 8:00pm on Saturday. As for food delivery there isn't any that cover that area I could find.
