I have stayed in a number of VRBO type places and this was definitely the best one! Very clean and super well stocked!! Exactly as described in the listing. Wonderful location. Check in was seamless especially considering we didn't arrive until 8pm. We noticed the hot tub needed some water. They had someone out and filing it within 1hr of notifying the rental office staff. Amazing!! Planning to stay here again in the next few months!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear this was your favorite stay and that everything met your expectations—from the cleanliness and amenities to the easy check-in process.
We also appreciate you letting us know about the hot tub and are glad our team was able to respond quickly and take care of it for you.
It truly means a lot that you’re planning to return, and we can’t wait to host you again in the next few months!
The house was so clean and had everything we needed plus a short 5 minute walk to a private beach area! EASY CHECK IN/OUT. My family had a great stay here, the oyhut was community was so quiet and cute with lots of fun things to do as a family!
We loved the location and ease to local attractions. Don't need to drive if you don't want to.
The house was clean and had everything we needed.
Staff was very nice! (Casey and Bailey were highlights for us)
My stay at Oyhut was wonderful! The check in process was easy, the community is cute/safe, the home was very clean and have everything I needed. My dog and I had a lovely visit. Thanks!
We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The hot tub was great, the layout of the house was nice for our family of four, we enjoyed easy access to the beach, and getting coffee at the market was very convenient and affordable. We came here to go agate hunting on Damon Point which was a very short drive from the rental. Super easy check in/out and staff were all helpful. We ate at Bennett’s Fish Shack in Ocean Shores and highly recommend for fish and chips fare.

Will be back
Overall a great place for a family beach trip. I wish the village offered a little bit more in the way of food & beverage but you can definitely get by here without doing any cooking, if you choose. Although, the restaurant is a bit pricey for what it is.
Our house was well equipped, although I think it could use more towels, and management addressed any concerns we had. (Mostly) Quiet and it definitely felt safe for our family. At night you could hear quite a bit more, likely because everyone is back at their respective homes and they are quite close together. Our hot tub could be a little more private, I would recommend finishing the fence or something. We will be back though.
Our overall experience at this property was fine. We were grateful that we could bring our dogs along with our family. And it was fun to stay in a rental that was in a community filled with other rentals.
There were a couple of things we wish we had realized ahead of time – while there is an easy walk to a beach area, it is the bay beach and not the ocean. It unfortunately wasn’t a place where we saw ourselves spending a lot of time due to the quality of the beach and the smell. But we discovered we could drive a short distance (5-10 min) to get to the ocean beach which was nice.
And the house does not have any way to move air around or cool the house down, aside from a small plug-in personal fan (and cadet heaters for the winter). For those sensitive to the heat like our infants, it just made it a bit challenging on the days that were warmer to stay cooler.

construction zone
The house was nice but right out the front door ( about 2 feet) was major construction, they were pouring forms for a new house and putting in new roads when we arrived. For the rest of our stay from 8 am to 6pm the house was very noisy and made the whole house shake. It shouldn't have been rented. They gave us a $72 refund but I was very disappointed. I also felt the back porch was unsafe as there was no railing to keep from falling into the hot tub and no handrails for the steps. I had to hold onto the BBQ when going up the steps.
We spent a week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach was accessible via a close walking trail. Lots of sand dollars to be found as well as agates and jasper on Damon Point. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a damp walk at the beach. We would definitely return to this home for a future stay.
Such a cute homey place. All needed necessities in place. Comfortable with plenty of room. Beds small and not super comfortable but overall slept very well. Dog friendly unit, no fenced area which worked for us as they don't stray and stay put but could be frustrating if u have one that dosent. Stay at vacation rentals frequently and would definitely return
We loved the rental house and property. Very private . Loved the grill, coffee, and store in walking distance. Very clean especially for being dog friendly. Will be booking again
The home and neighborhood was walkable and very family oriented. It is always good to take time to just reset and build memories.
The kitchen could use a few more items. A can opener, casserole dishes, a crockpot or instapot etc. The hot tub, BBQ were perfect.
Cute community with a short walk to a nice secluded beach. The house was clean and well stocked. I liked having a restaurant and convenience store close however you definitely need to make reservations in advance for the restaurant. It was great having the park nearby for our toddler and it felt safe and comfortable and a short ten minute drive to downtown.
Great property! Loved the proximity to the restaurant and bar (which is divine) kitchen very well equipped and all furnishings very comfortable. Surprised the bedrooms did not have TVs though? We enjoyed the hot tub each night as well. Would recommend!
