Lovely pet-friendly log guest home on 60 acres. Relax on the deck while watching wildlife or listening to the aspens and the creek. Our three bedroom, two bath home features a master suite with queen bed and private bathroom with a double cedar shower. The second large queen bedroom has an expansive library and leather easy chair for private reading, the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a full-sized futon. The shared bathroom has a large tub and shower. All three bedrooms have blackout curtains for restful sleeping or nap time. The fully equipped kitchen has new gas range, microwave, dishwasher and ample pantry in addition to laundry facilities. There is a large gas BBQ on a rear deck. The property is located on a dead-end road in the Battle Ridge area of the Bridger Mountains. It is located six miles from Bridger Bowl ski area known for its "cold smoke" powder skiing, and the Cross-Cut Ranch Nordic Center. All wheel or 4wheel drive is recommended for winter guests. Since most of the ski traffic comes from Bozeman, our guests will have an easy commute to and from Bridger Bowl. A picnic area along the creek is available for the enjoyment of our guests. It features a gas BBQ and seating along the creek, as well as two large picnic tables. It is a lovely place to unwind after a day of sight-seeing or hiking. The area has an abundance of wildlife including deer, elk, moose, bear, wild turkeys, coyotes and foxes, and the occasional cougar or wolf.. Guests have reported seeing wolverine when hiking in the Bridger Mountains near Fairy Lake, a short distance from the "cabin".

Very clean & cozy, pet-friendly, nice beautiful property that was used for fun (sledding). The host was very receptive to our needs. The cabin felt like home. There were plenty of blankets, sheets, and towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans, plates, utensils, serving dishes and appliances. It was perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location and views were amazing. We would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.
We vacationed with our dog and wanted a place tucked away with mountainous views. We were close enough to go on day trips to parks but when we retreated to our cabin, it was quiet and beautiful. Our dog seemed relaxed as well. We enjoyed our week there in the Bridger Mountains outside of Bozeman!
We had a great time staying here over the Thanksgiving holiday! The cabin is homey and very comfortable. The property is beautiful! Lots of good hiking! Recommend!
This house is in a great remote location, yet close to Bridger Bowl Ski area. Beautiful area, great hosts and the house was perfect for our 2 families.

We are happy you were able to visit you daughter and get some biking and relaxing. Hopefully you can do it again. Thank you for choosing our home for your vacation.
Sally is a wonderful host, she gave my family a heads up on the road conditions which allowed us to make an informed decision on what vehicle to bring. Great location the sunrises are wonderful to view from the living room. Great place for skiers Bridger Bowl is just down the street. Overall a wonderful experience Thankyou.
Property was great, especially for being away at Xmas time! Owners were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for a Xmas tree! Very close to Bridger for skiing and some great trails for walking pets or touring on.

About the host
Your host
The owners have operated a ranch on this 100 acre property since 1983. Now retired the "guest house" is available for memorable family vacations and quiet get-aways. The owners live in the main house down the road. While available if needed our philosophy is to allow our guests their privacy. .
Why they chose this property
There is a magic about this area that needs to be experienced. Returning guests tell us there is just nothing like it. Getting up early to watch the sunrise, hear the birds, and maybe watch a mother deer with her fawn or an elk and a calf is an experience not soon forgotten. The air is clean and crisp. The quiet is amazing. The creek provides a great retreat in the warm of the day and sitting next to the water will provide relaxation and peace that is not easy to find.
