Cabins West Lodging is located in the middle of West Yellowstone and is only 6 blocks from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Absaroka Cabin is 3000 square feet log cabin with a large kitchen and living area and antique furnishings. Perfect for large families or for adult groups that still desire the privacy of their own bedroom. The property has plenty of parking space for large groups. This is the perfect home base for all of your planned activities.

The kitchen has everything you would ever need, except the food! The 60 inch flat screen TV has satellite and DVD/VCR combo for your relaxing enjoyment. 6 bedrooms with 6 queens and 1 double bed along with the loft with plenty of room for the kids to sleep 'out' or play games. The entry is a large mud room with lots of space for fishing gear, snowmobile helmets, skis and boots, or whatever else you might stash away there. This is as close to home as you can get while on vacation!

This was the perfect place to accommodate a large snowmobile group. There was plenty of space for large trailers, which is often hard to find. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would possibly need, and the house is conveniently located near the trails. Jeff was a great host and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Our crew (4 people) stayed at Absaroka Cabin mid-January 2026. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean throughout, and more than comfortable. With ample comfortable beds and shower/bathrooms. If our crew were even twice our size spacious and comfortable it would be an apt description. This is my seventh winter in West Yellowstone with each year renting a home/cabin. Jeff & Oly's rental is the best rental to date. Our group cooked breakfast each day and dinner most nights. Oly (according to Jeff) is responsible for the well laid out kitchen equipment, cutlery, plating etc. The large capacity seating area allowed us to dine on one end and use the other for a workspace to setup laptops and work on pictures taken over the days of snowmobiling in and around West Yellowstone and in Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is centrally located to all grocery stores, restaurants, snowmobile rental locations, and my favorite the Buffalo Bar. It was great to meet Jeff & Oly, learn more about their rentals They are gracious hosts keen on improving the rental experience by asking that any improvement opportunities to be shared with them. I will be back to rent from Jeff & Oly again!

The Absaroka cabin. We have stayed in numerous vrbo’s across the country this is hands down the best. Perfect location. The kitchen fully stocked with all the necessary dishes etc. plenty of bath towels. Clean and beautifully decorated .

Absaroka Cabin was a great home base for our large family group's trip to Yellowstone. The cabin was clean and roomy and the kitchen was well stocked. Check in process was simple and the manager extremely easy to work with. And it's only a few blocks from the park entrance. I highly recommend this cabin!!

Perfect location for a Yellowstone visit!

We loved the location and cabin. It was just as advertised and perfect for family of 9 plus a 2 year old. The cabin is furnished with almost everything needed except for the actual food which was wonderful. I have already recommended this cabin to friends who are planning a trip in 2024. Great Family Cabin

Family Trip to West Yellowstone

We could not have picked a more perfect place/location. The cabin was cleaner than any hotel room I have ever stayed in and since I travel for work, that is a lot of hotels. Jeff responded to my inquiries within minutes. We did not experience one problem or issue the entire stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic all around !!

We found this place after our other accommodations were canceled by the owner with short notice. We were so happy we found Absaroka at 336 Firehole. Jeff was great throughout the process. The accommodations were splendid. Plenty of room to eat, play games and sleep. We used the fire pit twice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was a little bit of traffic noise at night. Family get together

Great location and a large facility. We had 8 adults and space was more than adequate. I would include a warning that the laundry machine require quarters. Some of the group arrived later and needed laundry done but could not get any change.
