New Log Home - blocks from the West Gate of Yellowstone


A great addition to the, Yellowstone rental market, this hand built log home was completed June 1, 2015. The three bedrooms include one queen bed in the main floor master bedroom, two twin beds in the second floor bedroom, and king plus twin bed in the very spacious basement bedroom. Also, a full futon is located in the basement family room. There are three full bathrooms, two on the main floor and one in the basement. I have two other cabins on the property next door with over sixty 5 star reviews. We use professional chemical free steam cleaning and fragrance free hypoallergenic detergent.

What a wonderful place to stay in West Yellowstone. We were able to rest and recoup well between each of our days in the national park. Additionally, the cabin was well stocked and ready for us to stay during our vacation. The home gave us a great base of operation to explore the town of West Yellowstone, in addition to the park. It was easy to drive to and park, and easy to get to lots of nearby resources like the outfitters and the grocery store. I highly recommend it.

My full time job is to rent these cabins and make my customers enjoy their stay while visiting Yellowstone. I've lived in the area for 20 years.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the two cabins which were original to the property. Montana and Yellowstone go hand in hand with authentic log cabins. After painstakingly restoring the two original cabins and having lots of success renting them through HomeAway, my goal was to build a new cabin, but in the same style as my older authentic ones. The result, an incredible new home with all the feel of the original.

What makes this property unique

There is nothing like a real log cabin. My cabins are warm and cozy, well thought out, and truly authentic. Plus, the cabins are located in town just seven blocks from the West Gate of the Park. Most visitors underestimate the amount of driving that's needed when visiting Yellowstone so its nice to have good lodging right outside of the Park. We also have two other log homes on site.
