Built entirely out of repurposed materials, the beams and flooring are 100+ year-old heart of pine. Barn wood and reclaimed tin accent the entrance and sunroom. The 600 sq. ft. sunroom has 4 garage doors opening to a 600 sq. ft. deck overlooking the water to create a perfect outdoor retreat. There are 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths; two of the bedrooms have lofts for additional sleeping areas. The kitchen is modern and fully furnished. The setting is very tranquil and private, nestled in a 10 acre compound with a bamboo grove and majestic oak and hickory trees providing shade and privacy. Lots of wildlife around including deer, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, and herons. The location is close to everything (grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, hospital, movies, etc) but it feels like you are in another world. Try to catch a bass or bluegill in the two acre pond, hike thru the bamboo trail or use the kayak or canoe over by the gazebo. The setting has to be seen to be believed. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome.
