Overall really enjoyed this place. The dog barking next door anytime we moved was a little annoying; but it looks like there is a fence being built that will help that.

Close to Lake!

Owner communicated really well, place is small but cute, with a grear outdoor layout appeal, great for couples needing a getaway. Close to Lake Murray's and all its amenities. Would recommend them.

Lovely little cabin. Slightly cramped next to the bed and in the bathroom. There was also a bad smell that only existed inside the cabin. Also, the property owner has the light on the front porch on always, so the room lights up at night from the light outside. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if they got rid of the smell.

Check-in was easy once we found it...it was in a quiet nice neighborhood, very pretty property. The kitchen area needed more counter space to put anything on. The bed was comfortable but a tight squeeze to actually get in it. Property owners were very nice and took care of a problem with a water leak very quickly we had while staying there. Nice stay.

Great little cabin with cute outdoor area. Place was equipped with towels, paper towels, soap, microwave, coffee & maker, ice maker & refrigerator. My daughter loved the little treats they left on the table for snacking. Would go here again and would recommend it to friends/family.

Friends Vacation

We really enjoyed our little cabin just 3 minutes away from Lake Murray. Everyday we stay there was just another adventure that we took. We went fishing we went swimming we went and saw the castles we went horseback riding. If we ever get to take another short vacation I think we're going to look this place up again cuz we really enjoyed staying there. The Host to this little cabin where the nicest people we could have ever met. Thank youGrace

Fabulous Weekend Getaway

I came for the weekend to relax and catch some peace/ quiet. Have never used VBRO nor stayed at Somewhere Landing Cabins, but so very glad I took the chance on both! Cozy and clean cabin with everything I needed right there! Extremely attentive hosts! Responding to any questions or calls for assistance readily and with a smile! I would highly recommend a stay!

Welcome! As Love County residents since 1999, we have enjoyed all that Southern Oklahoma has to offer and decided to share our love of the area by hosting guests on our property. We both have full time jobs; Becky is the Love County E911 Coordinator and Kemily is a Sr Systems Analyst specializing in electronic medical records for a large hospital system. We live onsite at Somewhere Landing and host 2 cabins at beautiful Lake Murray in Love County, Oklahoma. We are confirmed novices when it comes to hosting through vacation sites...LOL, and we have enjoyed receiving tips and learning from our guests. We hope you will feel comfortable enough to let us know what you are looking for and what you want for your time away. Kemily's dad was an adventurous man... a federal investigator early in his career, then a Methodist pastor later. Bill Norman took his family camping, boating and on so many awesome vacations. He was always welcoming and his favorite phrase as he greeted individuals was "come see us, we will treat you so many ways you'll like one of them".

Our goal is that you will find peace, adventure and comfort, while you visit us at Somewhere Landing. We hope you will enjoy the beauty of the lake, the amazing sunrises and sunsets that we fall in love with most every day. Why they chose this property

The cabin sets on 1/4 acre of our 3 acre property. We've taken great lengths for you to walk through the doors and be able to relax and feel at home. With amenities available to our guests we hope you will enjoy a peaceful stay. Located only 1.4 mile from Lake Murray State Park provides very close access to hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, golf, ATV trails and walking trails.

What makes this property unique

coffee pods are available because we want you to 'enjoy the moments'. We also like to provide complimentary champagne for your visit. Cozy, luxury sheets and fluffy towels create the perfect relaxed mood. We supply hair product and a variety of items for forgotten toiletries.
A large gazebo with outdoor furniture and equipped with ceiling fan is available for your use. And don't forget to enjoy the large copper fire pit for toasting marshmallows during your stay.
Bluetooth speaker is available for your use on the property.
