Perfect for off season

We’ve never stayed in South Haven and imagine it would be different in the summer, but for our early October stay it was the perfect quiet getaway. Having the private beach was so nice.

They had plenty of bikes available for the guests to use and it was a short drive to the downtown area . This was our third time staying at sleepy hallow, and we’ve had a great experience every time.

Our days consisted mostly of playing in the sand and waves at the beach and jumping into the gorgeous pool, it was a perfect family get away before the start of school. We enjoyed using the sports field and basketball court, along with ping pong. We will definitely be back!

The condo is TOP NOTCH. They provided everything you could think of, even left handed scissors! I mean EVERYTHING. It was spotlessly clean and up to date. The entire property was gorgeous and we received daily texts asking if we needed anything and keeping us up to date. I hate to tell you how great it was because now it will probably be so booked we'll never get another chance to stay there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family totally enjoyed staying at Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort. The grounds were very well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, beach, the park and the shared bicycles. Sunsets were beautiful with a nice stairway with built-in benches along the way down to the beach. Our particular unit had a broken dishwasher which had dishes left behind, and the washer was unusable. There wasn't any positive follow up from the office regarding repairs.

Our unit had seating room not only for us, but also for our family staying in another cabin. The entire property is very well maintained. The beach was not deep this year, but there was still plenty of room for beach chairs, which were provided. There is also a pool with a lifeguard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort has everything a family could want. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone who is looking for a great place to stay on Lake Michigan.

The best part (well, there were lots of best parts), was eating out on the very large patio. That is not something we get to do in FL in the summer.Fires on the beach! Lots and lots for the six year old to do. Friendly staff.
