About this property

Beautifully restored dovecote

Here is a superb dovecote of the XIX century, tastefully restored in a country and comfortable spirit.

The Rataboul dovecote is an ideal retreat for a couple, with additional space for two adults or two children. In the middle of a large garden, surrounded by plum trees. The terrace with its lounge chairs offers to see, depending on the year, seas of wheat, soybeans or sunflowers grown organically.

Built of Causse du Quercy cut stone, raw materials such as travertine for the floor, oak for the parquet and bathroom furniture, the beech staircase.

You will find on the ground floor the dining room; with a beautiful table for 4 people; the kitchen with kettle, toaster, two hotplates and a fridge for summer cooking. Open to the living room, you can sit on sofas overlooking the surrounding countryside. You will enjoy the reliefs of the countryside at every moment.

A staircase leads you to the first floor in a cathedral room, with the visible framework. You will find a large double bed to spend very sweet nights. The bathroom is small but comfortable, with its shower and its beautiful corner sink.
There are sun loungers and a table for dining at sunset. In the nearby hangar, there is free access to a ping pong table and a large trampoline.
