Chalet Stella is located at 1,500 meters above sea level, in a very peaceful area near the hamlet of Les Masses, a major Valais holiday resort in the municipality of Hérémence. Oriented to the south and southeast with its balconies and its terrace, it smiles in the sun. It enjoys an exceptional panorama over the Dent Blanche (4,357 meters above sea level) and 17 other peaks over 3,000 meters above sea level (including the Grand Cornier - 3,962 meters - and Mont-Blanc de Cheillon - 3,870 meters), the Val d'Hérémence and the Grande Dixence dam (the highest gravity dam in the world), the Val d'Hérens and the Euseigne pyramids (unique natural site).

The Chalet is located a few hundred meters from the Masses chairlift which can be reached on foot or by car (covered parking, free during the day); it is connected to the Collons and Thyon 2000 stations (downhill, cross-country and cross-country skiing, toboggan run) and the immense 4 Vallées ski area. Switzerland's largest ski area, the 4 Valleys cover the resorts of Verbier, Bruson, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon on 410 kilometers of slopes in winter with 93 ski lifts, hundreds of kilometers of hiking routes or mountain biking in summer, and an exceptional view from Mont-Fort at 3.330 meters above sea level.

In Les Masses, it is possible to buy ski lift passes, rent ski lockers and eat (snack, and restaurant "Le Bois Sauvage"); toilets are available. It is possible to reach Les Collons and Thyon 2000 with a shuttle from a stop in Les Masses.

The Chalet is accessible in summer and winter by a paved road. A parking space is available on the private road located a few meters just above the Chalet.

Built in 2006, the Chalet was built in a mixture of traditional and modern style: larch wood and slate roofing (cut sedimentary rocks). Its large 700 m² plot is bordered by a romantic little mountain stream.

The Chalet is equipped with Wifi.

The Chalet has three levels on a total of 135 m²:

- the garden level: the entrance hall allows you to store your skis and hiking boots. You have at your disposal an electric boot dryer in the laundry room to find your dry and warm ski boots in the morning. You will also find the sauna there: custom of the mountain countries for more than 2000 years, the sauna is recommended for its many benefits; factor of relaxation, it calms the nerves, helps to dispel stress and eliminates muscular tensions, evacuates tiredness and restores joy of life and tone thanks to its sedative action. To complete this experience, you have a large adjoining shower. You will also find a washing machine and a dryer at your disposal in the laundry room..

- the ground floor: this opens onto a large living room facing the magnificent mountain panorama thanks to its large bay windows and its large balcony. It is equipped with two sofas, a TV with a DVD player and "home cinema" sound. In the cathedral dining room, you will find a large table for 8 people and a wood stove. The American kitchen is fully equipped: you will find everything you need including a dishwasher, a traditional oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, fondue and raclette equipment, an electric coffee maker, an electric kettle. , a toaster,... The kitchen communicates directly with a terrace where it is pleasant to take your meals in summer in the shade of the blind. The ground floor also has a double bedroom (2 single beds and a wardrobe) with shower room (large shower) and private WC.

- the 1st floor: there you will find 3 double bedrooms. Two bedrooms with 2 single beds each have a bathroom (with bath) and a private toilet. They each have storage cupboards. Finally, a third, smaller bedroom has a pull-out bed (2 single beds), with a superb view of the mountains.

The Chalet is heated (central underfloor heating and electric heating) thanks to the electricity produced nearby by the Grande Dixence dam.

For the little ones, a cot and a chair are available.

In addition to a restaurant and a snack bar, a grocery store and tennis courts are at your disposal in Les Masses, and all the shops in Hérémence (2.5 km), Les Collons (3.5 km) and Vex (7 km). You will find all mountain activities (ski school, daycare, skating rink, indoor swimming pool, ski and mountain bike hire, paragliding) in Les Collons and Thyon.

The Chalet is accessible by motorway (A9 exit 27 Sion-est, Val d´Hérens less than 20 minutes), by train (Sion station) and by plane (Geneva airport 170 km).
