Enjoy coffee on the east patio in the morning and awesome sunsets to from the deck or great room in the evening. Witness soaring bald eagles and beautiful loon songs daily. Boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, await you and your guests. Included is an aluminum fishing boat and paddle boat. Owner pontoon rental is available upon request. Excellent wading and swimming right at the pier for children and adults. Enjoy a campfire after a day on the water. Horseshoe pit and plenty of games for the kids. Beautiful Boulder Beach

This is a magnificent, secluded setting that has been impeccably maintained. We only encountered one problem and the owner responded immediately and effectively. My wife and I have traveled extensively, but we feel very fortunate to have found Boulder Beach.

A great time at Boulder Beach

Our family has been vacationing in the North Woods for 30 years and we have never stayed at a nicer lake house. The natural beauty is wonderful. The property is immaculately maintained. The owners are invariably helpful. This property is what we will happily recall when someone utters the words “North Woods.” We sincerely hope to return.

Very helpful owners. Nice property on a fairly quiet lake. Spacious, comfortable house with a nice deck and everything in working order. Great 'up north' experience with eagles, loons, cranes, fox, deer and even a large musky sighted under the pier! The property is as described and pictured.

Quintessential Northwoods Experience

We wanted a true Northwoods experience to share with our grandchildren that evoked all the memories from our own childhood vacations and the years spent at my parents’ Northern Wisconsin lake home when our children were young. It’s been difficult to find the time to get everyone together to create new memories and reminisce amid the natural beauty, visit favorite places and explore. When we were able to find a week this summer, we wanted the perfect place—and we found it at Boulder Beach! This place had the ambience, the amenities, the location, the natural beauty, and accessibility to absolutely everything a family could want for a truly memorable vacation! The house comfortably accommodated our group. The pontoon rental was a wonderful bonus. The generational family home, property and frontage were lovely. The only downside for us was that we would have liked for the grass to have been cleared or mowed around the firepit area. But otherwise the adherence to maintaining the natural surroundings with wildflowers and attracting wildlife were stunning. We enjoyed excellent fishing right off the dock, gorgeous sunsets, a resident eagle, loons serenading us each night and more! Overall, we highly recommend staying in this beautiful, iconic Northwoods home.

Great Northwoods Lakehouse

Great Vacation!

Wonderful house on a special lake! Everything was exactly as advertised, and hosts were very responsive. They genuinely wanted my family to have a great time...and we did.

Great north woods family vacation!

We had a great time at Boulder Beach. House was nice, clean and had all we needed. The view is wonderful and on a beautiful lake. We spent great family time on the pontoon and caught a few fish. Overall a very good trip. My only comment is that there really isn’t AC for the house just a window unit for the master, that was ok. But most nights were cool.

Best of the north woods experience

Immaculate property, clear, beautiful lake; great for fishing, boating, sunset cruises. Property has all of the amenities. Great owner. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Great place for fall colors

We couldn't have asked for a better week for fall colors. The colors were absolutely beautiful! The cabin was very comfortable. Since it rained every evening we were there, it was nice having such a warm and cozy cabin to be able to play games and enjoy our evenings. We went to Sand Lake Bar a couple times while here. Great food! Greg was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Great place!

Awesome peaceful week

The house and property are tucked away on probably the biggest quietest lake Ive ever been on. The scenery was beautiful and we had perfect weather. All 8 of us were extremely happy and satisfied with what we were provided. Greg was very nice and helpful and I felt well informed before ever stepping foot on the property. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks Greg and Robin for letting us stay at your place. It was an awesome week. Thank you.

A Great week up North

We stayed at the property over the last week of July. The weather was on the cooler side for really very nice. The owner, Greg was so easy to work with and helpful. The living room without a big screen TV was really nice because it meant that we could spend at least part of our evening as a family enjoying each others company. This was a trip up north with my adult children and grandchild and I know everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend it. The pontoon rides were fantastic..

A Very Special Spot

Wildlife including bald eagles, sunsets on the pier, a beautiful and peaceful lake, meals on the deck, and a pontoon boat - all from the cozy, rustic, and pristine cabin! Our family just stayed there and we did not want to leave! The cabin and the property are just perfect. You cannot see your neighbors and are surrounded by the beauty of the forest. It was so peaceful and quiet. I have been on many lakes in Wisconsin in my lifetime and this lake, by far, is my favorite because of the perfect size, the serenity, and the scenery. Greg, the owner, was extremely responsive and a joy to rent from. We will definitetly return!

Great place for some family time

My wife and I and our 5 children with ages ranging from 25 to 10 recently stayed. Property was very nice. There was a little walk down to the lake but easy access. New dock worked out great for docking our boat. Large deck over looking lake was a great place for morning coffee and watching the nesting eagles. If we had any complaints it would be that the basement was cool and damp feeling but the kid’s didn’t seem to mind sleeping down there. Overall a beautiful lake that was not full of jet skis and boats driving by all day.

Great Labor Day Getaway

Two family trip up over holiday weekend was a lot of fun. Beautiful lake with good multi-species fishing options (huge muskie seen first AM by dock!) and boat house for storage and recharging boat batteries. Home slept our two families comfortably, and kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Quiet setting with nice wildlife—loons and bald eagle were nice treat. Also close enough to Eagle River for our teens to enjoy putt-putt/go-karts/etc.

Remember what the lake was like when you were a kid?

We had an great time catching tons of fish and swimming in this pristine lake. It doesn’t take long to unwind in this beautiful cabin. This place wasn’t put together overnight... this is an established lake home with everything you need and then some. The wildlife was spectacular. We saw a fawn 10 yds away outside the window one morning... we had a giant eagle swoop down for a fish 20yds off our pier...and caught Northern, walleye, small mouth, largemouth, blue gill, perch, and rock bass. Some of the perch off the pier were impressive. Phelps is a short drive for goods and the people in town were very nice. Thanks for a great stay.

Northwoods Cabin

This property is so wonderful. Beautiful well kept home with fabulous views and a sunset unimaginable. The very first day, an Eagle landed in the tree 20 feet in front of us as we sat on the wrap around upper deck. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. The property owners, Greg and Robin are so wonderful! They made us feel welcome from the start. Five Stars!

Summer Vacation

This is a very nice cabin! Lots of windows for sun and a nice cooling breeze off the lake. Easy access for boaters with a private dock. Bedrooms and beds are comfy. Just wish the darn mosquitoes weren’t so bad this time of year.
