Awesome stay at this property. Super accommodating and comfortable cozy place. Right next to the ATV trails and they had no problem with us bringing up the trailer and utv.
Nice and peaceful stay at lakeside gardens beautiful garden that overlooks the lake. Comfortable and cozy place perfect for my family and thank you so much to Vernice for you're hospitality.
Came up for a weekend away from the city and to explore some trails. This is such a cute space with great amenities. You can tell the host has put a lot of thought and care into everything. We had a great time here!
Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Vernice was very welcoming. We made a fire in the firepit one night after enjoying the view from the dock and fish jumping. The kitchen was very well stocked. Just a nice place to stay.
Lovely spot, perfect for the quiet weekend we were looking for. Vernice was very helpful when we had questions. We would definitely consider returning.
My wife and I enjoyed a quiet, nature saturated weekend at this property. The highlights were the back yard flower garden fire pit, and getting out on the water with the property paddle boat. The king size bed in the main bedroom was one of the comfiest beds we've slept in, and if you're looking for an amazing cafe experience, check out Wolf River Roots cafe about 30 minutes West of the property!
This property was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for everyone and the location was great. The gardens were very pretty and peaceful. The king bed needs to be replaced/updated in addition to the pillows, but that was our only complaint.
The cottage is newly done and very cozy. But the real star is the gorgeous extensive garden. It is almost magical and puts you in a wonderful peaceful relaxed state of mind.
This is our second stay at Lakeside Gardens and we enjoyed ourselves again. The host is wonderful, the gardens and frogs are a great distraction for the kids, and we had fun on the lake. We will be back.
My Daughter in-law and myself were looking to get away and relax. This place was the greatest place for that. The flower beds are amazing. The little pond with the frogs were so relaxing, listening to the water fountain sound was so relaxing.Vernice (owner) is such a sweet person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and helped us find nice places for food and fun.

Sandra, I wish you would have asked. We took the salt and peeper out when we closed up the house for the winter. I'll have them put it back! Thanks for the feedback about the frying pan. We'll try and get a bigger one. Thanks for your review.
Vernice was an excellent host. She was courteous, friendly, and was quick to answer any questions. We did not arrive till late, and she still greeted us with a big smile and showed us the property. The garden is wonderful. The flowers are beautiful, and the waterfall Is relaxing. The lake was peaceful in the morning and the paddle boats are a great way to explore it. Highly recommended for a Family!
Hang out in the flower garden's multi-leveled sitting areas, or maybe have coffee on the deck in the early morning stillness over Chute Pond's waters.
Lunch on the patio table or inside are places of beauty.
Canada geese, water spiders, swimming muskrats, yellowtail butterflies and ruby throated hummingbirds all enchant.
So does the waterfall ending in the frog pond.
My parents and I planned a UTV trip in the area and wanted a spot for a home base for 3 nights. We found this great spot, and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. We were able to park the trailer, 2 UTVs, and truck just fine, and the trail head is literally right down the street to connect you to main trails in the area! The lower level setup gives you the north woods cabin experience and is a very nice setup. Beautiful garden and lakeview right out back. Definitely would recommend this spot, Vernice was great to talk to and made the check in super easy and showed us the place when we got there. If you need a nice, quiet, and relaxing place to stay in the area, check this one out for your trip. Thanks for the awesome stay, we enjoyed our trip a lot and having this spot to call home for the week was perfect.
Beautiful gardens and setting, absolutely beautiful
It was a wonderful cute place close to our other family that was camping at Chute Pond. Such nice host and place was well equipped, even had paddle boat and dock access to water. We had everything we needed, although first couple of days were little too warm/hot. Only suggestion we have is since there isn't AC and place is in lower level; maybe add a dehumidifier or portable AC to get rid of some of the dampness since my husband had an allergy flare up and it may help cool it down. We are definitely considering staying again next year.

Hello Lisa, Thank you for your kind review and helpful suggestions. We do have a very large dehumidifier in the basement. We don't run it when guests are there because it is really loud. Maybe it would be better to have it as an option if people felt it was too humid. We have been really booked in July (and it has been hot), so we haven't had as many "off" days to run it in between guests. We will definitely talk about this though! So glad you enjoyed your stay!
