Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this house as this year‘s family stay at the beach. There were a few very minor electrical issues in the kitchen, but easy to work around. A minor issue with no hot water in first floor shower. Would have enjoyed a little more seating space on the outside decks for more adults. With all of that, we really enjoyed this house and it met all of our needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice and this was the 3rd year in a row we stayed here. Great location, 2nd row with a view of the ocean. Having a pool is so nice after a day on the beach. A/C was inadequate on upper floor. Shower water pressure was weak in upper left rear b/r.

Great location but bad experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we rented this house the pictures looked great. Upon arrival the pool didn’t work. We called in for assistance, they came in a Monday and left with the pool not pumping. We called about a stopped up drain and a crack in the downstairs shower seat. They came in a Wednesday and put some type of repair let gel and stated the shower insert needed replaced. They fixed the clogged drain. The house was dirty, the floors were dirty, the kitchen was so unorganized we had a difficult time finding anything. The gate to the pool was broken and there was a lot of broken beach chairs and pool toys under the stairs. When speaking to the management company about our concerns, we were told it was the owners fault. That the owners wouldn’t allow them to change batteries in the smoke detectors w/o their authorization. We have rented from Garden City A couple times before and never encounter such disrespect from their manager. She blamed everyone to excuse our issues. Never once did she apologize and or state they would step up to their responsibilities as a management team. Very disrespectful for sure. We own a condo on the north side of Atlantic and we always make sure our guests are happy and address concerns the day reported. To have 6 couples in a house and the pool doesn’t work and the house is dirty was very disappointing. The owners should know about our concerns and not have the management company try to fluff them over.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our multi family stay. House has a great flow, large rooms and beautiful pool. Located across the street from the beach and beach access. Kitchen was well equipped. Large family room with plenty of seating. Perfect porches with comfortable sitting on the front and back. Wine/drink fridge and ice maker were nice additions. Some of the beds could use new mattresses, otherwise we loved our stay.

A Great Vacation Home!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at this home!! Had so many amenities and was well kept. Loved all of the views from all of the decks. The only thing I would recommend is an outside shower or hose off area to rinse off from the beach. Other than that we cannot wait to stay again next year!!

Great vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff at Garden City Realty was fabulous. The only issues of our trip were the TV in the living room, although we didn't watch much TV, and that the AC upstairs didn't cool quite as much as we'd like. However, the location, house, pool, and everything else was wonderful.

Reviewer Comments: We were told the day we moved that the stove did not work but would be fixed on Monday. The stove top was never fixed. Also we asked to rent this property for next year an earlier week but were told the rates had not be set. We have always been able to do this in the past. All in all we had a wonderful week and vacation rental experience.

Christmas Stay 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1906 So Waccamaw has driven my family to start a new tradition - spending the Christmas holidays down in Myrtle Beach. This year, 2024, will be our fifth year celebrating the Christmas holidays in 1906 So Waccamaw. The house is beautiful inside and out and has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Each room has a deck, which offer great views of the beach. The upgrades were a pleasant find also. Thank you for having a great vacation rental property.

Waccamaw

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cleaning needs to be more thorough. Kitchen equipment needs to be replaced. One dishwasher leaks, the other very loud and doesn’t clean dishes thoroughly. The gas top stove and backsplash dirty. What’s the point in having electric operated recliners in the furniture if you’re going to remove the cords to plug up??? King size bed frame needs replacing.

Fantastic beach house for large group

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this house and rent it every yr for the same week. Owners update it every year so it is a great place to spend your vaca. Perfect location..across the street from beach access. However this year the walkway to the beach was being repaired and did not have it completed and no other way to get on the beach. No fault to the owner or realty co but was difficult to travel onto the beach. Other than that it is a great place to stay. Pool is great. Kids love it.

A wonderful week at GCBeach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a GREAT overall stay!!! The vacation rental was in a perfect location! The home was mostly clean and mostly in good shape. The small refrigerator for drinks was not working when we arrived, one of the shower doors was out of its track, and one shower was not draining properly. But these concerns were responded to quickly and thoroughly by vacation rental staff! The house did not have enough flatware to serve 16 people (the capacity of the house), but we purchased plasticware to fill in the gaps. Vacation rental management staff was extremely helpful and responded quite quickly to all of our concerns!! Thank you to Garden City Realty!
