Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*

The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).

This is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo with king bed , queen sofa sleeper and full kitchen.

Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.

The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.

This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

The property was spacious, pet friendly & clean. Parking was a significant challenge, but the property host saved us a spot which was appreciated. Noise was the biggest issue. We called the property Mgmt at 11 pm and against midnight to contact the police as the apartment across the street was loud, consumed too much alcohol and disrupted all of the neighboring properties, It was unfortunate as it made our stay there unpleasant even though the property was decent. It could also use some basic maintenance and updating as none of the electrical outlets worked on one entire wall including the kitchen.

Clean, family friendly, bigger than expected! We stayed for two nights during peak fall colors and it was fantastic. Parking was easier than expected and the proximity to town was perfect. We parked the car and didn't touch it for the entire weekend. Walked everywhere in Telluride and enjoyed running up to Mountain Village via the nearby free gondola. Our dog went just about everywhere with us. She stayed in the room for one or two meals where a patio wasn't available. No weird rules about unattended dogs. The room was perfect for our family of 4. My husband and I slept in the primary room with a pack-n-play and slumber pod for our baby. That fit incredibly well in the little space by the window, it worked great without making the room feel unusable. Our 3.5 year old loved sleeping on the pull out in the living area. We felt like the bathroom was well placed where we could use it without waking up either kid (small travel sound machines used in both rooms). The kitchenette was perfect for our use. We didn't do big meals here but used it a lot for snack times and a pre dinner glass of wine (wine openers in the unit!). Hot tubs were fantastic, clean, and we actually really enjoyed that they were shared. We took a charcuterie board down to that shared space as well... no weird rules anywhere. Just enjoy the amenities! One of the best parts was there was no long checklist of thigns to do before checking out. Just turn the keys on and go on your way!

Great location.

The location is wonderful for exploring Telluride on foot. It is also right off a lovely river walking path and close to the gondolas. It is very clean and comfortable and our unit had new appliances. The staff is also very welcoming. Looking forward to returning.

Great Location!

Great clean place in a very convenient location! It was great for our family to hang out in town for a few days without getting in the car once. If you are lucky to get parking in the complex big plus, but the alternate parking is right next door and not a big deal.

Weekend Stay

Great location! The property was as advertised. Great place for the kids and close enough to walk to downtown for any shopping or outings you’re interested in. The property is very conveniently located near the river walk and was great for family walks around the town. The staff was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Loved it

Great place and great location. Just a short walk to Lift 7 and a 5-minute walk to the Telluride gondola. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The one-bedroom space was clean and well appointed. It had everything we need for a relaxing stay. The two hot tubs were warm and appeared to be new. There was even a grilling station and a nice space for socializing. We will definitely return to this place when visiting Telluride.

Buyer Beware

The property is advertised as having on site parking.In May when we booked,we confirmed that parking would be available for our stay during the Blues & Brews festival. That is why we chose this property over others that did not guarantee parking. When we arrived however on site parking was not available and we had to scrounge around for on street public parking.The property mgr said she sent out a form letter the week before that advised that because of festival weekend on site parking would be limited.We didn’t think that applied to our booking since we had confirmed at the time of our booking that it would be. FALSE ADVERTISING! The unit is nothing special,way overpriced for what you get and poorly supplied with essentials that are provided at most VRBO’s. That being said,Telluride is an amazingly beautiful town,the festival wonderful and worth a visit but at a better venue.

The festivals fill the town up and parking typically can take a little longer to find. That being stated, everyone always find a spot. Telluride Alpine Lodging does offer condos that have their own parking garages. They are higher cost per night, but the extra cost would be worth it for your peace of mind.
