In a 2 hectare park, on the edge of the forest, you will be calm, surrounded by nature. The thatched cottage has its independent access. The living room, on the ground floor, is open onto an equipped kitchen, and opens onto a terrace. A first bedroom open to the living room is located on the mezzanine. It is equipped with 2 single beds and gives access to the closed bedroom, equipped with a double bed. Honfleur and the Saint Gatien golf course are around 10 minutes away, Trouville and Deauville around 20 minutes.
The sea is less than 4 km away. The region is very well equipped for mountain biking and horse riding. The cottage is ideal for a couple with 2 children.

Gorgeous Normandy Barn

My husband and I had a magical ten days in this beautiful barn conversion at the edge of a Normandy forest. It was such a lovely, peaceful place with just the sound of birdsong. We were even visited by deer in the garden. The house is well equipped, elegantly decorated and very comfortable. You are ten minutes from a huge supermarket and 15 mins from the charming town of Honfleur. Arthur and Bea were warm and generous hosts and we felt really looked after while we were there while also having complete privacy. We highly recommend this place and you are sure to have a very relaxing stay in stunning surroundings.

Ländliches Refugium

Die hübsche Unterkunft liegt inmitten einer baumbestandenen Weide, am Ende eines Feldwegs, umgeben von Wäldern. Brötchen holen ist entsprechend aufwendig 🙂, aber die Ruhe und Schönheit der Umgebung machen es wett. Honfleur nahebei bietet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Trouville hat einen wunderbaren Strand und eine hohe Baukultur. Unschätzbar waren der Empfang und die Hilfe von Beatrice und Arthur, den sehr herzlichen und unkomplizierten Gastgebern, die auf dem Nachbargrundstück ihr Haus haben.

Wunderschönes Haus inmitten der Natur

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Haus mit grossem Garten und Terrasse rundum genossen. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wonderful retreat in Normandy

As a family of four, we had a wonderful stay in this original and with a lot of love renovated house. The house as well as the surroundings were just perfect! Close to the forest with deer passing the garden in early morning as well as in short driving distance to the beaches. The perfect hide-away for a family vacation. Highlight for our boys was Ica, the landlord‘s dog! They immediatly adopted her for the first two days :). We had such a great time which started with a warm welcome and finished with a very easy check-out process and just relaxing time inbetween. Thank you so much Arthur and Alexandre for welcoming us in your home, so that we could experience some exceptional time in Normandy with our family. I hope this won‘t be the last time! des vacances agréables au calme

un très joli accueil de Béatrice et Arthur avec leur chienne Ika. La chaumière est magnifiquement placée au calme absolue à 5 min de toutes les commodités et à 15 min max de la mer. L'autoroute n'est pas très loin et cela nous permet de rayonner très facilement en Normandie pour y visiter soit les plages, soit de magnifiques petites villes ou village. A l'intérieur de la chaumière il y a de quoi passer de très belles vacances. Pas de WIFI mais le propriétaire nous a laisser un router. Une seule vraie chambre, deux autres lits sont sur la mezzanine juste devant la chambre. Le soir, seuls les chants des oiseaux viendront rompre le silence. Avec un peu de chance vous pourrez apercevoir des chevreuils. Un très bel endroit pour explorer le Calvados.

Een heerlijk verblijf wanneer je rust zoekt

Goed uitgerust cottage, zeer sympathieke eigenaar en eigenaresse. Met een niet geüpdate routeplanner in de auto is het even zoeken. Apple CarPlay met routeplanners gaat een stuk makkelijker. Met z’n tweeën prima te doen. Met meer wordt het even aanpassen maar ook dan kun je er een heerlijke vakantie hebben. WiFi alleen beschikbaar met 4G modem van eigenaar. Wij hebben onze telefoon als hotspot gebruikt. Mooie rustige omgeving met genoeg privé ruimte. Strand en Intermarché binnen een minuut of tien per auto te bereiken. Kortom we hebben er een prima vakantie gehad en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Schönes, geschmackvolles Haus im Grünen

Die umgebaute Scheune liegt abseits vom Trubel in Honfleur, ist allerdings beim ersten Mal nicht einfach zu finden. Sie ist geschmackvoll umgebaut und sehr geräumig. Es ist schön, Zeit im Haus und auf der Terrasse zu verbringen. Arthur und seine Frau Beatrice sind kultivierte, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Chaumière de charme

La chaumière a beaucoup de charme située dans un écrin de verdure avec pour tous bruit le chant des oiseaux. C'est un bel endroit pour se ressourcer à l'écart des sentiers battus. Elle offre en même temps les commodités modernes et n'est pas très loin des lieux touristiques.

Insel der Ruhe im Grünen

Das komplett ausgestattete (kein WLAN!) lädt zu einem erholsamen, naturnahen Urlaub ein. Zahlreiche Ausflugsziele in der näheren Umgebung, auf dem Land oder am Meer, sind leicht erreichbar. Gute Betten, komplette Küche. Größere Menschen sollten auf der Treppe zu den Schlafräumen rechtzeitig den Kopf einziehen wegen eines Dachstuhlbalkens. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wegen einer Navifehlanzeige hat uns der Herr des Hauses persönlich zum Haus gelotst.

Lovely secluded farmhouse

This farmhouse was greatly renovated. It is just the right place when you're looking for getting away from the city. The depiction and photos are completely accurate. The kitchen part is perfectly functional and equipped. The hosts are awesomely great charming people you can rely upon if you need anything or have any concerns. The property is very secluded so the phone service can be a bit spotty. However, we didn't have any significant problem with this. We haven't taken the time to explore much around, but the beach and groceries are all in a roughly 15min range. Lovely scenery and we saw lots of deers in the evenings and fantastic spot overall!!

Urlaub in der Normandie

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig mit viel Platz drumrum gelegen und sehr geschmackvoll sowie mit allem Nötigen ausgerüstet. Der Strand ist mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto in 15min erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann einen Urlaub dort zur Entspannung und Erkundung der Normandie nur empfehlen!

Sejour dans une magnifique chaumiere

Belle petite chaumiere en pleine nature. Le calme des lieux permet d'observer les chevreuils qui viennent brouter dans le pré. Le logement est tres confortable et bien équipé. Les proprietaires sont charmants et discrets. L'accès à la chaumiere se fait par un chemin mais c'est le prix de la tranquillité.

Versteckter Schatz für Erholungssuchende

Wunderschönes ortstypisches Häuschen liebevoll und funktional eingerichtet. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier richtig. Am Ende eines Feldweges versteckt es sich am Waldrand mit großer Freifläche zum ungestörten Spielen für die Kinder. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, sind sehr herzlich, sympathisch und immer ansprechbar für Fragen rund um Haus und Umgebung. Babybett und Hochstuhl wurde uns vor Ort zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses charmante Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
