Beautiful authentic house

The house is beautiful and Catherine is the kindest host! The garden is very nice and spacious. The little village of Beaumont-en-Auge is gorgeous, we felt very much at home.

Nice house, ideal with little dog

We had a nice holiday in a very nicely decorated house in a pleasant little village.The garden was closed so that our dog could run free.

It’s hard to describe. It is not advertised correctly on your website. The reservation was for 4 and it says it sleeps 4 but it doesn’t. There’s a queen bed and an uncomfortable sofa. It is NOT a sofa bed. It says it has a washer and AC…not true! There isn’t even space for 4 persons to sit comfortably and watch TV. It says it has a patio for outdoor dining. Ridiculous! I could barely walk by the tiny table to get to our room. Closet is big. Shower is tiny. It says kitchen is stocked with essentials. There were not ANY bowls to eat cereal; no baking pans, I had to go buy one. It states 1-2 block to the beach; not the beach where you can lay out and swim. We were told to park in front of garage. There were trucks there with workers blocking that area every day. The curtains didn’t cover the entire window so the sun came in every morning waking up person in living room. It was clean. Definitely FALSE ADVERTISING!
Back of couch, not comfortable.
This is NOT a sofa bed. It only accommodates ONE person to sleep.
Sofa; does not pull out or fold down.
Darker curtain does not cover entire window so sunlight comes in in the morning.

Axel has written a very nice critic of my house after his stay from may 17th to may 31st. The critic above is about another house in which Axel had an obviously very bad experience. It is not my house and I have written to Axel and asked him to correct the error.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison digne d’un cottage anglais. Rien ne manque, le jardin est très agréable et la literie est confortable. Nous avons eu toutes les infos nécessaires à notre arrivée grâce à Catherine. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. La seule chose que nous ajouterions pour un confort maximal dans le jardin serait deux chaises longues ( il y a déjà deux transats de plage) pour pouvoir passer de longs moments à lire.

Wir (2 Erwachsene mit Hund) haben uns im Haus von Catherine wohlgefühlt. Es ist liebevoll restauriert und sehr geschmackvoll mit Antiquitäten und Bildern aus der Region eingerichtet und dekoriert, dennoch modern und bequem. Die Küche ist für ein Ferienhaus gut ausgestattet. Der Garten schön für Lesestunden im Schatten. Ein strengeres Tempolimit für die angrenzende Straße wäre wünschenswert.

Havre de paix en Normandie

Excellent séjour dans la maison de Catherine : on s’y sent immédiatement chez soi. L’accueil chaleureux et soigné, la propreté, la décoration et le très beau jardin permettent de passer un séjour idyllique. Les environs sont à visiter : pays d’Auge, bocage normand, plages, tout est à proximité. Une chose est certaine : nous reviendrons l’été prochain ! Merci infiniment.

Das kleine Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Von dort konnten wir unsere Ausflüge und Strandbesuche prima machen. Die gemütliche Unvollkommenheit des Hauses war genau der Unterschied zu einem langweiligen Hotelurlaub. Es war alles da, was man so braucht. Nette Nachbarn und selbst der Nachbarshund hatte uns freundlich in sein Herz geschlossen. Danke!

Charmantes Häuschen in Top-Lage

Ruhig gelegenes, schönes Ferienhaus mit hübschem Garten, Lage ideal für zahlreiche Ausflüge ans Meer und zu zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Normandie. Sehr nette und speditive Besitzer. Jederzeit wieder!

Reizendes Haus in wunderschönem Dorf

Wir haben uns im Haus von Catherine sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Sowohl die Schlafzimmer wie auch der Wohnbereich sind total gemütlich und wir haben uns hervorragend erholt. Die Kommunikation mit Catherine war bestens. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Schönes und ruhig gelegenes Haus

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in diesem schön eingerichteten und gut ausgestatteten Haus. Das Haus liegt am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes, Strand und Supermarkt sind ca. 8 km entfernt. Im Garten konnte man sich gut aufhalten. Die Abstimmung mit der Vermietering war sehr gut und zuvorkommend.

A beautiful House with a Garden that offers all you need as a Family of 4. Located in the small, scenic Village of Beaumont-en-Auge that offers quite a few Cafés and artisanal shops absolut a 15 Minutes Drive to the Coast.
