Guest Access:
Entire Cabin
The Neighborhood:
Located just 3.3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, Valley View #1 is close to restaurants, shops, and Smoky Mountain adventures—yet surrounded by stunning natural beauty and peaceful views of Mt. LeConte and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Getting Around:
Paved roads lead all the way to the cabin, with a short gravel driveway for final access.
We recommend 4x4 drive when staying in Gatlinburg or any mountainous area, including this one. In normal weather, most vehicles will be fine, but a 4x4 provides added peace of mind.
Other Things to Note:
• Guests must be 21 years or older to book this cabin.
• Maximum occupancy is 12 guests.
• A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for all Gatlinburg cabins, especially during rain or winter. While roads are paved and generally accessible, a short gravel driveway and elevation can make 4WD helpful.
• The gas fireplaces are seasonal and typically operate from October through March, weather permitting.
• A Keurig coffee maker is provided—please bring your preferred pods.
• The charcoal grill is available for use—guests should bring their own charcoal.
• Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day.
• Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided.
• Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method.
• Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area.
• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.
• Property Access: Your privacy is important to us. While we do not anticipate needing to access the property during your stay, authorized management, maintenance, housekeeping, or service personnel may occasionally need to enter for inspections, repairs, maintenance, safety concerns, or emergencies. Whenever reasonably possible, we will make every effort to notify you in advance. If we are unable to reach you, do not receive a response, or immediate access is reasonably necessary, authorized personnel may enter after knocking and announcing themselves, or immediately in the event of an emergency, as permitted by applicable law. We will always respect your privacy and strive to minimize any disruption to your stay.
• Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use.
