Beautiful, Peaceful Spot

David’s home is an absolutely beautiful spot to getaway, relax and enjoy the view of the river off the deck. The property is spotless, the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with and the house had everything you might need and more. We met family there for a few days and enjoyed many sights in the area including the Eagle center, Frontenac State Park, the Red Wing boot company and Kinstone. Although we cooked a bit we also enjoyed some fun restaurants in the area recommended by the host. We would definitely recommend staying here and will stay again if we are in the area.

Great Weekend!

This is a wonderful home with beautiful views. Set high on a bluff overlooking a river and other bluffs in the background, you will want to spend the majority of your time on the spacious deck. There is a huge yard, with lots of space for kids to run around, play games, etc. The house was immaculate, and David, the owner was very accommodating about suggesting local restaurants and things to do. He even left us some drinks in the fridge! Definitely will be returning! Thanks, David!,

The location is spectacular! And the house was very nice. It was clean, nicely furnished, and provided a panoramic view of the Mississippi River valley. The master bedroom is beautiful. The second bedroom was nice, but a much smaller room. This is a beautiful place to be!!

My wife, Marcia, and I have four children. We have been lifelong residents of the Wabasha area and are so proud of our little community and all that it offers. We have ten grandchildren, and are about to become great-grandparents. Family is, of course, the very most important, but we also find time to do some traveling and stay busy with making sure our guests are comfortable and happy. We are proud of this house and excited to share it with our guests.

Why they chose this property

Upon staying here, you will see why realtors maintain that the first impression is so important. When you drive down the driveway and look down into the entire Tiffany Wildlife Refuse, you will be hooked, as we were. It literally feels like you are on top of the Mississippi River, and the views of its tributary, the Chippewa, go on for miles. Immediately below the property lies Reads Landing, a quaint, little river town that is full of history. You can tour its museum or head a block lower to a microbrewery and enjoy their latest batch of home-made beer. The house is modern, fully equipped with everything you might need in the kitchen; and if the nights get chilly, enjoy some time in front of the fireplace. The windows on the river side of this property are expansive. You can look out over the Mississippi River Valley for as far as your eye can see. Two decks, adorned with bluebirds raising their babies on one side of the house, and a small orchard on the opposite side, where, if your timing is impeccable, you can enjoy one of several varieties of local apples, pears, or plums. The place, simply put, is a place you will never, ever forget and yearn to come back to. While folks have tried, words simply cannot do it justice.
