1: This beautiful Charleston room has intricate woodwork and moldings and can function as a living room or a 4th bedroom. It features a queen Murphy bed, ensuite bath, roomy closets, large double doors that make this room function fully as a bedroom.
2: Queen size bed, private ensuite bathroom, end tables, reading lamps.
3: Two single beds with ensuite bath, heart pine flooring, The dormer rooms use a charming spiral staircase which may not be suitable for all guests.
4: Two Twins with ensuite bath, wide heart pine flooring. The spiral steps may not work for all, but the views over the rooftops are spectacular.

We are "old" Charlestonians, married 50 years if that tells you about us! We met in college, married and now have 3 children, 5 grandchildren. We have travelled a lot. We discovered VRBO in Europe and realized it's the best way to go. Upon returning home from our 17 year sailboat odyssey, and having spent time in a number of vrbos, we were happy to become host instead of guest. We have been converting our long term apartment rentals into short term rentals. It has ben an intense and interesting project.

We always preferred to stay in a place that was "in town" close to the action, walkable. But we also cared about being in a place where the host shows they cared about style and design. We have really enjoyed having the opportunity to combine great space with gorgeous decor, convenience and comfort.

This apartment is the flagship of St Philip Square. The entire complex is a fabulous collection of historic properties that offer high end, well appointed, attractive and comfortable accommodations. Because we have such a diverse group of unique properties we can offer the perfect setting for a small family, a big group of friends, a family reunion, a wedding party (the whole wedding party) a business retreat.
This particular apartment has designed with "hospitality" in mind. We have a lovely typical Charleston living room with fireplace and mantel with grand windows and opening into a convenient dining room/kitchen area with attractive quartz bar, elegant cabinets, full equipment and storage.

The apartment can accommodate the parents, the bridesmaids/groomsmen, the guests who can slip into the living room for the night with its clever full bathroom. The bridesmaid or groomsmen can escape up to the top floor with multiple single beds, clever bathrooms with lots of space, charming windows.

You would chose this apartment if you were hosting. If you want to be in a pretty place. If you want new, modern kitchen and bathrooms in an historic Charleston house.
