About this property

Scenic views, walk to beach.

Built in 1998, Sunview House is a three-story colonial style house. Feel the warmth of sunlight & enjoy the scenic views of the tidal marsh & river through almost every window with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the master bedroom. Short walk to South River, Humarock Beach, restaurants, coffee shop, package store & salon. Several historic sites located nearby. Situated between Boston & Cape Cod. Easy access to Rt.3 & 3A. Nearby train station w/access to Boston.

The first floor space includes living room (couch w/pullout bed), dining area, kitchen & half bath. On the second floor are two bedrooms, a full bath & laundry. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second one has a queen-sized bed as well as a couch. The master bedroom is located on the third floor, which includes a queen sized bed, leather couch, desk, mini-fridge & high top table with chairs. There are two Duraflame fireplaces w/remote on first & third floors.
There is the main deck (main entrance) as well as a smaller deck on opposite side of house. Picnic table facing tidal marsh. Grill and propane tank will be provided for guests use. However, we do not monitor fuel status and guest may need to refill before use.
New memory foam mattresses for all beds (2019).
High-quality bedding and towels provided.
Front loading washer & dryer. Laundry supplies provided for your convenience.
Wifi included.
Livingroom & bedrooms have either smart TVs w/chromecast built-in or TV's w/ Amazon Fire w/remote (login to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. w/ your own account). Each bedroom has bluetooth speaker/charger port alarm clock.
K-cup coffee machine (coffee & tea provided), all kitchen essentials provided.
Outdoor hose w/hot & cold water makes it easy to rinse yourself or dog off after the beach!

Please note: We request at least 2 days advance notice when booking (i.e. book by Tuesday for a Thursday check-in). Whenever possible and if property is vacant, we may be able to accommodate a booking/check-in with shorter notice. Please inquire to discuss.

Disclosure: There is (1) one Ring doorbell device located next to the front door facing south. Please note, it is primarily used to monitor weather/water level conditions when vacant.

Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and Humarock Beach. Nearby Rexhame Beach is sandier and allows dogs on leash any time of day. Took a nice walk through the woods down to a dock on the North River at the John Little Conservation Area, which is about a 5-mile drive from the house.The house was very clean and comfortable with nice firm beds. The owner Adam was very easy to communicate with and made for a pleasant stay.

Property is very cute and beachy but has all modern conveniences. Location is great- close to Humarock beach and restaurants but quick drive to a number of other shopping and dining options. Host was friendly and responsive and left us all the information we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable beach cottage

What a lovely experience! Our stay in Marshfield was pleasant and comfortable from our first moments. Our host Adam went above and beyond to clearly communicate and welcome us in - even with a bottle of wine! The home was perfect size for a multigenerational family visit and was enjoyed by all ages 12 to 70. Humarock Beach is a darling community with many friendly faces and we had wonderful walks. We also easily reached Boston for a day of sightseeing.

Nice views, very relaxing. Comfy beds and great communication from the very friendly host. A worry free stay while in town for a funeral. Just about anything you need under the sun is just a few minutes drive.

Adam is an amazing host! Very responsive & accommodating! The property was exactly how it was described online, very clean with all of the amenities you would need for a vacation home! Perfect home. Great to have 3 bedrooms, each with large beds. Kitchen has everything you need. 1 and a half bath worked well. Plenty of towels and hot water. A/C units and ceiling fans kept house cool. Plenty of parking. Good location.
