- Le Vieux-Cannet is a medieval defensive village, located on a high point, 127 meters high. Considered one of the oldest villages in the Var, it is still today the perfect witness to what was a castrum in Provence, that is to say, this famous type of defensive village. In Provençal Gothic style, the site has been classified since May 28, 1934 (main square of Vieux-Cannet).

- The 12th century Saint-Michel du Vieux-Cannet church is of typical Romanesque architecture. It was founded in homage to the Archangel, who had protected the inhabitants from the Saracen invasions. Over the centuries, the church has valiantly weathered the weather, sheltering many pilgrims. A wrought iron campanile was added to the bell tower in the 18th century, donated by Colbert. The church was added as a historic monument in 186,230.31. The church bell is dated 177532.
