What a super week. Loved the property, check in was fantastic and Dominique couldn’t have been more helpful. Kitchen well stocked and everything very clean. I struggled with the bed ( a pretty firm mattress) but that’s about personal preference. Close proximity to the centre of St Remy was such a bonus. We would definitely return.

Lovely oasis in walking distance to the center of Saint Remy and the Alpilles. The house has everything you need and the little garden with the private pool is just lovely. Perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. I‘m in love with this place.

The villa is wonderful. We had such a lovely stay, there is everything you could wish for, and it is within easy walking distance of St. Remy de Provence, the Asylum where Van Gogh stayed, and the Roman ruins of Glanum. Our host was very sympathetic with regard to our check-in. This is our second stay - hope we can make it again! The weather was not so kind to us but there is every facility at the villa to make up for it! St. Remy and the surrounding areas are so special, so is the villa and its hosts!!

Fabulous house, so nice I’d like to live in it! Christine and Dominique were helpful and communicative and we had a great week traveling around Provence from St Remy. You can walk to Glanum, the hospital where Van Gogh stayed, and the town in 10 minutes. Would love to return one day. One tip for car renters - don’t let the company persuade you to take a big suv. Insist on a smaller car - the roads in villages are narrow and parking spots narrow. And the space at the house is short so you don’t want to stick out onto the road as we did (fortunately it’s a dead end street so quiet).

Francophiles who can’t wait to return to France

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect. We had friends join us for part of the time, and our daughter and her family joined us for another part of the time. We were there for nearly a month and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great house in great location

Property works really well for two couples and is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of St Rémy. This is our second time staying here and would stay again.

Great location easy walk into town centre The House is Exactly as shown on the web. Extremely clean and full stocked with all the utensils and tableware you could possibly need. The pool was very clean a little cool but very refreshing . very private garden and a great outdoor illuminated dining area

An amazing place to stay in Provence

It was wonderful to be back! Great location, lots of familiar places and faces. But not quite what I remember from our last visit in 2024! The impeccably clean and comfortable house has not aged very well. Broken sun umbrella, infestation of small ants (pharaoh ants?, you need professional service, not ant killer spray from the supermarket!) in the kitchen, washrooms, bedrooms etc. Nasty smell in the ensuite bathrooms (sewer smell, sulphure smell). Dishes, pots and pans had to be scrubbed and washed before use. Oven pan left dirty in the oven (I did not clean it! Still there). The place needs a good, deep cleaning. Refrigerator needs repairs as water leaks to the bottom of the freezer and ice builds up causing water leaks (I took out several large chunks of ice under the bottom drawer to allow the door to properly close). Some of the towels need to be replaced, they have seen better days. Small bottle of shampoo would have been nice for the first day. Should also have basic cleaning supplies provided for guests to cleanup as they go. Nice to have a bottle of local wine, bouquet of flowers and the bottle of olive oil, thank you!In 2024 this place was a great deal, price/value, a definite 10 of 10 rating. From our recent stay in September 2026, I rate it a 7 of 10. Some serious cleaning and fixing should bring it back to its former glory!

Comfortable spacious house on edge of St Remy. Easy walking distance into the town. Pleasant kitchen and dining area. Good WiFi. Parking in little space alongside the entrance gate. Quiet neighbourhood. The bedrooms were comfortable, plenty storage space The bathrooms all had modern plumbing. Good place to stay for two weeks. Would come back again.

Beautiful new villa. Quiet and with only a short walk to the centre of St Remy

We had a great stay at this beautiful and new villa. The place is perfect for four people and is very well set up. The location is ideal for visiting St Remy by foot. We especially enjoyed the Glanum Archeological site that is just up the road. Would recommend.

St Rémy Perfect

The villa was perfect. It had everything described and all that was needed. Proximity to the town with shops and restaurants could not have been better and it is a perfect location for exploring and enjoying this area of Provence.

Lovely house on the edge of a beautiful town

We had a wonderful stay here in the middle of July! Although it was bloody hot for the week, the house stayed cool, and nights were perfect due to the airconditioning. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot. For us this was the perfect combination of having everything close by, while still enjoying the privacy we wanted.

Perfection

Great house in a quiet neighborhood but easy walk to downtown. Excellent kitchen set up, very nice backyard with pool. Perfect base for exploring all of Provence. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom.
