The cottage was simply furnished but adequate, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable.Matt and Becky went out of their way to help us, we enjoyed every minute of it. The peace and tranquility of the area was wonderful with just the sounds of birds and sheep!

Cosy rural getaway

Gorgeous setting. Functional well-appointed cottage with a brilliant shower. Great hosts and delicious food made to order. Location, though very rural, is great as it is central to North and South costs of Cornwall. Great for families.

Lovely property in a great location

We had a great stay at this property which was clean and as described. Location was excellent - remote, but good wifi connection(!) - and close to where we wanted to be. There was a hiccup with our boiler which was resolved very quickly, so communications and service were also excellent in that regard. Highly recommended.

Fantastic cottage

This was a lovely holiday in Cornwall overall. The cottage was lovely with all the content that we needed for a weeks stay. The surrounding lakes were amazing and there were wild horses and sheep outside the cottage grounds. Accessible to the northern beaches and a small shop and pub in walking distance. The owners were discreet but were around if required. The WiFi in Cornwall is generally poor so this is not a fault of the cottage itself. We would definitely visit again, especially as the cottage was dog friendly.

très agréable cottage

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce cottage propre et bien équipé. Les propriétaires étaient sympathiques et de bons conseils et le cream tea d'accueil fut apprécié après une longue route depuis Porstmouth. La région est belle tant sur les landes qu'en bord de côte. Il y a possibilité de faire de l'équitation et de la pêche également dans les environs. Nous avons pu faire de belles randonnées. Le gîte est situé sur les landes mais assez proches d'un magasin pour le ravitaillement de base et pas très loin d'une ville de moyenne importance où l'on trouve tout ce qu'il faut. Un gîte que nous recommandons.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans un gîte confortable à tout point de vue. Accueil particulièrement sympathique avec un cream tea d'arrivée.
