Nice house near the sea

A perfect location to enjoy the neighbourhood. We enjoyed the beach the small city of blonville. The garden has a nice swimming pool. there is only little sun because of the tall trees. The roof of the first floor is very low (abou 1.90m). I had to bend walking towards the bedroom.

We recently stayed at this property in France and overall had a lovely holiday. The location is excellent with a fantastic nearby town and beautiful beach making it a great base for exploring the area.Unfortunately several issues let the property down. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. It was very dirty when we arrived , as was all of the outdoor furniture.Although we reported this to the house Manager and the pool was eventually cleaned, this wasn’t resolved until near the end of our stay. The property description also states that the pool was heated. It was not. In addition we were not informed that the pool was approximately 6 feet deep throughout , with no shallow end, which made it unsuitable and potentially unsafe for one member of our family with mobility issues. The outside furniture was covered in green moss, the table was broken and there was only enough seating seat for 4 people even though the property is advertised to accommodate six guests. As we were visiting during the summer, it was disappointing not to be able to fully enjoy the outdoor space.Inside the house, there were also a few issues. The dining table comfortably seated only four people despite our party of five. There were cobwebs in several areas and the property did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. The pool table was a great feature, but unfortunately the cues were bent. Overall, the house didn’t feel that it was prepared for our arrival.

A lot of improvements to do...

First we want to start with the positives: We enjoyed the pooltable, swimming pool, neighbourhood, dog friendly garden. We also disliked some things: More hospitality expected at arrival. Only french speaking housekeeping. Put the garbage outside on the road during your own holiday. We liked some more information about the kitchen supplies and tv etc. A bit messy from building materials outside the house. No regular seeting area outside. The terrace is only a carpet with a table. Not much towels for showering. No drying rack inside the house. House is not fully equipped for 6 people. Dining table for 4 persons and terrace table only 5 chairs. Washing machine not fully installed. Bar stools don't fit because the washing machine is in the way. Dishwasher drawer is not fully functional. Not much electrical sockets in the kitchen. Oven is not fully functional. We expected a more satisfying house for that price. Some improvement tips. - seats at the pool table - move the bbq near the "terrace" - info folder at entrance in more languages then just french.

Week-end passé entre amis, la maison est très agréable, les chambres sont spacieuses, avoir 3 salles de bain est vrai plus, le linge de maison était propre et sentais bon.La piscine est superbe, nous en avons bien profité.Se rendre au centre ville et a la plage se fait facilement et rapidement a pied.Les propriétaires sont top et disponible, je recommande.

Maison familiale avec barbecue et billard

C’est la seconde fois que nous venons dans cette maison, et encore une fois tout était parfait. Et malgré le temps, nous avons quand même pu profiter du billard et des moments en famille qui seront inoubliables. Merci à Marina pour sa disponibilité, son efficacité et sa gentillesse.

Week-end au top !

Nous avons passez un excellent week-end en famille! Le billard, le barbecue et le sauna : top 😃. Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée à notre période mais nous avons passez un moment mémorable. Rien à dire, je recommande les yeux fermés.

Nice spacious villa

The host was very helpful and easy to contact. The pool was lovely and quite deep at both ends. Facilities were very good and air conditioning upstairs fairly quiet and efficient. A very enjoyable vacation

Beaucoup de choses à améliorer

Le ménage à notre arrivée était très mal fait ( sanitaires , vitres très sales), nous avons été obligé de tout nettoyer La villa est prévue pour 6 personnes, la table de la salle à manger ne peut accueillir que 4 personnes et encore, en étant serré L’emplacement pour dîner dehors est très mal agencé Piscine 2 mètres de profondeur très agréable mais impossible de savoir comment marche l’alarme, ne convient pas aux enfants Maison située au calme, chien des voisins un peu bruyant Nous aurions aimé être prévenu de l’arrivée du chauffagiste( à 8h30) pour l’entretien de la chaudière Les 3 chambres sont très humides, elles sont en demi sous sol

Great Choice

Good location for seeing the historical sights and for enjoying the northern shoreline. Parks and restaurants close by, good location for recreational biking.
