You changed your dates to stay in Mother Goose Cottage several times, to which we agreed. You were supposed to arrive on the 20/4/24 for 7 nights, you arrived on the 13/4/24 at 11pm at night – we were in bed ! You were extremely agitated as you had your mother with you who suffers with dementia. We did all we could for you and explained that Mother Goose Cottage was in the process of having a new bathroom fitted, but due to a cancellation we could let you have Barn Owl Cottage instead. We rushed around to get the cottage ready and to find you bedding, towels etc., we eventually returned to bed at 12.30 am.. You admitted that you had not read your booking form correctly. We also explained that a new sauna heater was being fitted on the 19/4/24, which was the day of your departure. Had, of course you arrived on the correct day the new sauna heater would have been fitted. How you can complain now about not receiving a refund and not mention any of the above is unbelievable. Reviews should be fair and accurate.
