A cute little spot for a holiday escape; we loved the location, set back (or should I say up!) from the bustle of harbour side, with a secluded garden and sea view. A handy food store and pub a short stroll away.The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We particularly liked that the cooker and tv didn’t need 60 page instruction manuals to decipher before operation! Our host was very welcoming and swift to reply to any messages and had provided us with plenty of information on local places to visit. Would definitely come again!

Our holiday home was perfect. There was everything you would have needed. The views were superb. Such a great location. Can't wait to come back again. The beds were comfy. The shower was great. There were games for inside and out. The information guide and maps were really appreciated. We were a family of 4. Our kids are 12 and 9. The steps up to the property were quite steep but that wasn't a problem to us and cooking space was a little short but provisions had been made with boards over the sink etc. We had a lovely stay. Thank you very much x

Nice little spot. The directions once in Boscastle were fine but I advise just reading through in advance, the directions are all there but the parking spot is on the road and quite small, so if you drive one of those outsized Tonka trucks, you might find it tight.

Hideaway Holiday

This 2 bedroom pine cabin is in a wonderful, secluded location with the most amazing views over Boscastle, the castle, the lookout, and the sea. It's garden is fantastic to relax in and sit back to enjoy the endless sunsets in the evening. We had a brilliant few days staying here, exploring and walking in the local area. A great find and I would fully recommend it for a holiday.

Lovely place to chill

This was our second stay at The Hideaway and my family and I loved it just as much. A perfect place to relax with stunning views over Boscastle and the sea beyond. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Lovely well equipped cabin with immaculately kept garden. Hope to return again sometime soon. Thanks Juliette.

Pretty setting

Comfy clean lovely view , Steep steps up to property and on a very steep road as is most of the area. Definitely need a car to get around. Boscastle village is very pretty.

We spent 5 nights at the Hideaway and loved our stay. Very quiet and a very good location for visiting the North Cornwall coast and nearby attractions Tintagel, Polzeath, Padstow etc. The accommodation was cozy and compact and well-equipped. We eat-in each evening with good cooking facilities. Nice sitting area. Great views to the sea, sadly we did not use the garden much due to the poor weather. The access to the property via steep and narrow steps might be a little tricky for the less abled but the beauty of the cabin is that it is very private, We would gladly return, in particular, in summer months the garden much be a joy to sit out in. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!

A truly delightful holiday cottage in a fantastic location. Situated fairly high up, it offered lovely sea views over Boscastle from both the lounge window and the garden. The outdoor space was particularly well thought out. In addition to the indoor dining area, there was a table and chairs under the veranda, a large picnic table on the lawn, and a BBQ for outdoor meals.The cottage was exceptionally clean—so clean, in fact, that I almost felt reluctant to put anything in the fridge!The kitchen area, although compact due to the open-plan layout, was very well equipped. The lounge was comfortable, with cosy sofas and a good-sized TV.There were two parking spaces available. One was directly outside the property and required a little manoeuvring to park close to the wall, but the second space was very spacious and presented no parking difficulties at all.The steps leading up to the property were a little challenging, as they are quite steep, so it may be best suited to able-bodied guests. You do get used used to them.The host provided detailed directions well in advance of our arrival and was always quick to respond to messages. An excellent host.The cottage was within walking distance of Boscastle itself, where there is a great selection of places to eat during both the day and the evening. The cottage is also an excellent base for both coastal and inland walks, with numerous routes starting nearby. Had we stayed a few days longer, I would happily have explore.

Hidden gem in a beautiful village

We had a magical week at the house. The views are stunning and it was lovely to be able to wander in to Boscastle and having a great pub on the doorstep (really amazing food!) was a bonus. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable and Juliette is a welcoming and helpful host. We enjoyed the harbour, coastal walks, horse riding on Bodmin Moor, a visit to Bodmin jail and a local water park. We are a family with an 11 and 15 year old and there is lots to do in the area. All of the above and body boarding at Trebarwith, beautiful Bossiney Cove and Crackington Haven. It's a beautiful spot in a beautiful part of the world, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Die Ferienhütte ist schön gelegen, ruhig und mit toller Aussicht. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin antwortet schnell und sehr freundlich. Der Check Inn war unkompliziert. Die ganze Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ließ sich an kälteren Abenden sehr schnell beheizen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

WUNDERSCHÖN

Wir waren schon vor einem Jahr hier und mussten dieses Jahr wieder buchen. Das Haus mit dem spektakulären Ausblick, die liebevolle Einrichtung des Hauses - alles da was man benötigt und noch mehr. Die Besitzerin kümmert sich sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste und es war schön sie zu treffen. Es gab dann auch Tipps was man unternehmen kann und sogar beim Eintreffen nicht nur Scones mit Marmelade, clotted cream, sondern auch ein wunderschönes Küchenhandtuch mit cornischen Motiven! Wir kommen wieder!!
