A beautiful place!! Jennifer & her husband did everything they could to make our stay comfortable ! We enjoyed our stay so much in their beatiful homeWe really enjoyed our time sitting on the beautiful deck with great views! A great place to stay .Bellingham Washington!!
Optimal location to all facilities at Sudden Valley. Beautiful, clean apartment with lots of room (3 bedrooms) plus superb views of lakes and mountains. Will definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful time! The spaces were beautiful and well laid out for a family. The kitchen is a well-equipped kitchenette. We grilled for our main meals.
We spent most of our time visiting our daughter in Bellingham, but Pinnacle Perch was perfect for our needs. We didn’t take advantage of all the available amenities and activities, but it appears there is lots to do, and the living space was most comfortable. We would stay again.

Was great having you Joanna! Thank you for staying at Pinnacle Perch and come back any time!
The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Our family of 4 mature adults were very comfortable. We loved the “zen” vibe- fresh flowers, scented lights, inspirational sayings tastefully displayed. The location was perfect as our daughter and son-in-law live at gate 3. Jennifer is a wonderful and responsive host.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our entire stay. The property is centrally located in Sudden Valley. It’s very tastefully decorated and the hosts were very helpful in pointing out things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great having you and Ed stay with us. You were wonderful guests and we look forward to having you stay with us again.
The living space is the downstairs directly below the main floor of the owner’s. There is a separate entrance on the side of the house. We had a weekend golf tournament and worked out very well being so close to the clubhouse. The parking is on-street parking out in front of the house.
From fresh cut flowers to room spray in every room the hosts made with a comfortable and pleasant experience! Comfort was abandoned from the living room to the bedroom to the outside porch. They thought of everything!
We (5 adults) recently stayed and Pinnacle Perch and had an incredible experience. The unit was immaculate with well appointed amenities. The attention to detail including fresh flowers in each bedroom, property notebook and well stocked kitchenette was appreciated. Note that there isn’t a stove or oven but for our short 3 day stay was not needed. The toaster oven, air fryer, and microwave were all we needed. Our hosts were wonderfully responsive with helping us accommodate extra vehicles for visitors. I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return.
Beautiful spot in the very nice subdivision of Sudden Valley. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean, well stocked with amenities such as coffee and shampoo. One of the four adults has a bad knee - so our only difficulty was getting her in and out of the steep driveway but our host let us use his parking space so that also was very accommodating.
It was a perfect property for us. When we had a question or concern, it was addressed immediately. Clean, welcoming environment with beautiful views. We enjoyed the deck area & the fireplace there. The steep driveway is a drawback, but the weather we enjoyed did not adversely affect getting up & down.
An extremely well appointed rental. All the comforts to have a nice landing place after a day at the lake/mountain/town. Communication with owners was top notch, super nice folks. The two things we learned were 1) finding the house was a little tricky, especially with the sun in your eyes at sunset, 2) while well appointed the kitchen isn’t a full kitchen, not a huge deal but changed our meal planning a bit. Overall a delightful rental, we hope to be back next year.
We were two couples staying at this lovely vacation rental for 2 nights. The flat is on a quiet street with lovely, peaceful views from the covered porch. it’s a large and comfortable flat with two good-sized bedrooms. While the flat has a kitchenette instead of a full sized kitchen, we had no trouble making dinner using the grill and kitchen appliances for the two nights of our stay. It’s a short driving distance to a few beaches and about 15- 20 minutes from downtown Bellingham or Fairhaven. Our host Jennifer was great and super accommodating. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely stay again
This rental is the bottom floor of a large house, with the owners upstairs. The apartment is very private and comfortable. There are two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. It's perfect for two couples or a family of four. The path into the house is a little steep, so it's not ideal for someone with mobility issues, but if everyone in your group is fine, then the place is great. We loved seeing all the deer in the neighborhood!

Julie,
Thank you staying with us and leaving the rental in such good shape.
We hope you had a good visit and enjoyed your weekend with family.
Cheers!

Very nice property and very clean. It was definitely big enough for all 6 of us. We were visiting my son who lives in Bellingham and this was a great hangout home. The kids did a lot of fishing in both Lake Louise and Lake Whatcom, walking distance from the rental. The only negative was there was no oven/ stovetop. That was my bad. I didn’t notice that in the pictures and description. We generally don’t like to eat out when traveling but I managed to cook all the meals with the electric skillet and air fryer. It all worked out. Overall great place and I would stay again.
Our family arrived separately so we checked in at different times which was no problem at all. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The deck is in the trees and a great spot to read or eat. The kitchen is as described, a small kitchenette. It is workable with all the electric tools: air fryer, toaster oven, griddle, microwave but not for lots of cooking. The outdoor grill worked for meat for dinner. The driveway is steep, the steps and path are aggregate helping one’s traction. Parking is at the top of the driveway. Pinnacle Perch is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood of Sudden Valley, somewhat removed from Bellingham proper.
I stayed in Pinnacle Perch over Labor Day weekend with my spouse and 6-year-old. My spouse played in a gold tournament at the Sudden Valley Golf Course, and my kiddo and I hung out. This rental is just a few mins drive to the golf course, but also would have been fine walking. Walkable to the AM/PM beaches, Lake Louise, etc. Jennifer (one of the owners) was extremely communicative and helpful.
Note that this rental does not have a full kitchen (which I didn't realize until after I booked it), but turned out not to be an issue. There is a full size refrigerator, very powerful toaster oven, and a large utility sink in the laundry room for washing dishes.
I highly recommend this property, and am already planning another trip back here!

Was great having you guys! We look forward to seeing you again in the future! Cheers!
Beautiful unit. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the Bellingham area. Communication with hosts was good. Location puts you close to lakes, recreation facilities and natural beauty. I stayed with my partner and his 16-year-old son and we all had a wonderful time. Will absolutely go back next time we are in Bellingham.
The property and hosts were wonderful. We knew the kitchen would be minimal, but it included everything we needed and more. The bed was big and comfy, and the house had so many amenities including a washer and dryer. The view and neighborhood were lovely, and we met friendly folks on our morning walks. We even saw a cottontail rabbit and three deer right outside our door. A great getaway.
This is an immaculate unit in a very quiet residential community. It is stocked with everything you need for a short stay, with the added bonus of fresh flowers from the garden throughout. I highly recommend this rental.
Absolutely FABULOUS! It couldn’t have been more perfect for us outdoor girls! We each had our own bed, clean, and absolutely cozy! Would go back in a heartbeat!!!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Ordello
We are both Bellingham raised growing up together since we were 10 years old. We love the pacific northwest and enjoy golf, hiking, skiing, travelling and hanging out with our wonderful family and friends. We are excited to share space with you. We take great pride in our place and welcome you here.
Why they chose this property
This was an area of Sudden Valley where Jason grew up dreaming about owning a place on the strip of Marigold Drive where the house sits. Its location to all amenities including golf course, beaches, pool, tennis court, gym, trails and stores makes it the perfect place for people to come and enjoy. The property lies steps between both Lake Whatcom (beaches, boating, swimming) and Lake Louise (trout fishing, canoeing, trails).
What makes this property unique
We are steps from pickleball, 5 min walk to am/pm lakefront beaches for swimming, relaxing. The community pool is steps away. Good sunset views and full sunshine.
