Great location for walking, beaches and food - 2 big very well stocked supermarkets in walking distance as well as farmers market - restaurants and bar and pharmacy nearby , a quite narrow street, parking just round the corner 2mins walk -local people very helpful- The basic property suited us perfectly-

Nice holiday.

A very convenient location for exploring the south and western Algarve coasts. The cottage is very comfortable, and just as pictured. An left lots of materials to help us find our way around, and her restaurant recommendations were perfect!

Spacious and comfortable, perfect location

This cottage was superb and had everything we could have possibly needed. It is the first privately owned place we have stayed where the towels, bedding and bathroom supplies were of such good quality, as was the plentiful terrace furniture, small things, but make a difference. Everything was very smooth at check in and check out. Would highly recommend this property!

Charming cottage in great location; and a short drive to the west coasts best beaches

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. With 2 small children it had everything we needed to be comfortable. Although small, it was ideally located in a charming village and a short drive to the most amazing beaches. We spent a week exploring a different beach each day returning to the cottage for dinner and bed. Wonderfully relaxing, can't recommend it enough.

Good Value

We found this property in a nice location, with much to see in and around the town. It was clean and nice but not equipped with more than one toilet paper roll. Aldi is right around the corner. Super cute decor, comfy beds, and easy parking.

Great house, with exceptional service!

Brilliant service - even left a bottle of wine for my girlfriends birthday. Nice touch by the owner. House was very nice. Lots of tips where to go and eat out. Brilliant service from the owner before, during and after our stay. Thanks a lot.

Truly outstanding house in great location

After a very nice stay in Tavira and its region i arrived in this beautifull part of Barlavento. Land of the barlavento: superb. What a great arrival i had in your house in Vila do Bispo. Anne you are a great host! I had put my suitcase down and straight away i started to discover the house and how functional the house is. I adored the costa st Vincente. I left with a very good feeling and my head full of memories of this wonderful area and this wonderful house. I took the road to Lisbon along the coast and that was the cherry on the cake of my stay in the Algarve. Thank you for letting me stay at your house it has been superb.

Nice little apartment

We were very happy when we entered as it was exactly how it was portrayed online. Overall, it was very clean. The kitchen is quite spacious so we enjoyed cooking and preparing meals. The cabinets smelled a little but that’s probably due to the house‘s age. But the kitchen offers everything you need. We used just one bedroom. This one had a big window you can open to get some fresh air, the other room just has a small window on the roof. The outside area is small but really nice and private, we had all our breakfasts there. Check in with a keybox was super easy. The location is also nice, we had a car we could park easily in the surrounding area. All in all we had a pleasant stay. .

Die Wohnung ist wie es die Bilder zeigen, das ist in Ordnung, die Bilder sind sehr ehrlich. Leider sieht man auf den Bildern natürlich nicht ob Betten bequem sind oder nicht, das waren sie bedauerlicherweise nicht besonders. Das Metalldoppelbett quietscht und wackelt sehr unangenehm. Die Bettwäsche war überwiegend sehr alt und teilweise löchrig.Auch die Möbel auf der Terrasse sind alle kaputt und sehr unbequem. Das Haus ist leider in der Sommerhitze sehr schwer zu durchlüften, da es nur auf einer Hausseite ein Fenster im Schlafzimmer hat. Auf der anderen Hausseite sind ledidiglich 3 Mini Dachluken vorhanden (schwer zu öffnen). Auch die Küche hat kein Fenster, sondern Glasbausteine in der Wand. Und die größte Luftquelle, die Haustür, möchte man nachts beim Schlafen nicht offen stehen haben. Das größte Problem war aber, dass die Terrasse überhaupt nicht beschattet ist. Es gibt weder einen Sonnenschirm, geschweige denn eine Markise. Wir haben uns dann in der Not aus einer Plane was gebastelt, sonst hätten wir da nie sitzen können. Für den Preis, den wir bezahlt haben, könnte man neuere Outdoormöbel und eine Beschattung erwarten.Was uns persönlich auch lieber gewesen wäre, wenn anstatt einer Waschmaschine eine Spülmaschine vorhanden wäre. Geschirr, Besteck und Töpfe sind aber ausreichend vorhanden, außer Salatbesteck.
Könnte jederzeit durchbrechen.

Alles in Allem Perfekt

Kleine Minuspunkte gibt’s für das sehr kleine Bad und kleine Schlafzimmer Es gab keine Ablage Möglichkeiten dort bzw. Schränke, nicht einmal Platz für die Koffer! Der Rest der Wohnung ist geräumig und sehr sauber Im Ort gibt’s es alles was man braucht, Supermarkt, Bäcker, Restaurants etc Jedoch um zum Strand zu kommen und Ausflüge zumachen ist in dieser Gegend ein Auto unabdingbar!!

Best vacation house ever

The property is ideal for a stay in the quieter part of the Algarve. It is ideally located and very tastefully decorated. Everything has been thought of take make your stay as hassle free as possible. A fantastic, relaxing 10 days. A fantastic property, lovely area and great host. My family and I are going back to that home sooner or later!.

Fantastic location. Beautiful area.

Loved this cottage! It was very clean and spacious and in the perfect location for our family holiday. It was close to the surf beaches, excellent coastal walks, lots of birdlife, and in a lovely peaceful location. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and kindly arranged for a few groceries to be bought in for us ready for our arrival, along with a complimentary bottle of wine. Lots of visitor information provided, and great selection of information in the house.. Excellent kitchen. Very happy with our stay - would definitely recommend and would use again!

Great stay.

Lovely restored cottage with very nice decoration. Clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the quite location. The host is very helpful and quick in communication with us. We recommend.

Five Star Accomodations at a Five Star location

A group of friends trekked to the southern tip of Portugal for relaxation and fun. We landed in the Vila do Bispo region of the Algarve at this beautiful cottage. This house fully accommodated our group. There are no words to describe how beautiful this accommodations was. Everything about the house was clean, nicely renovated, well laid out and very functional. When we walked into the village for the first time, we could not believe how lucky we were to stumble upon such a gem. But I would be remiss if I did not mention our outstanding host. She was fantastic. She welcomed us to the home with open arms, explaining every detail of the house and its functions and giving us an overview of the area and its customs. On the occasional time that we had a question, the owner was responsive, communicating with us regularly and quickly. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone and I would recommend any property that this owner owns/manages. She is fantastic as was the house. We hope to visit here again in the near future.

Tolles Familienerlebnis in der herrlichen Westalgarve

Wir haben im April wunderschöne Familienferien in Vila do Bispo verbracht. Die Dorfstruktur ist erfreulich Hotel-frei und ruhig. Mehrere unverbaute malerische Strände sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, wo es auch Surfequipment zu leihen gibt. In Vila do Bispo gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (grosser Lidl, Apotheke, Metzger, kleine Lädchen) und mehrere Restaurants. Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer Nebenstrasse, absolut ruhig, ist recht klein und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin hat uns persönlich und sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir haben und sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfektes Domizil für Strandurlaub an der Westalgarve

Geschmackvoll renoviertes Fischerhaus in Vila do Bispo, einem kleinen, funktionierenden Dorf. Die Markthallen mit Bäckerei, kleinem Supermarkt und Metzgerei befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Im Ort selber gibt es eine Reihe guter Restaurants. Von Vila do Bispo aus sind die vielen schönen Strände sehr gut mit dem Auto innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu erreichen! Unsere Familie (mit 2 Kindern) hat den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen!

Very good option for spending some time in a very quiet and typical place.

Everything as expected and described by the owner. I recommend for anyone that want to be away from the confusion in a very well decorated and nice house.

Perfect stay

We've had a lovely stay in Vila do Bispo. The cottage is spacious enough for a family of four. Just missed our host as we were a bit delayed but all was prepared for our stay. An runs her business 'Casa del Praia' in a very professional way and the cottage we stayed in had lots of information and tips for activities in the region.
