Come sit by the fireplace and watch the wildlife from the couch. Nestled in the woods of Towamensing Trails is where you will find this unforgettable getaway.

Available for weekend/weekly rentals. Exquisitely furnished with gas fireplace with stone ceiling to floor, cathedral ceilings,knotty pine floors 1st and 2nd level, one Huge 55 led Inch TV in the living room, one 32 inch TV in the master bedroom, a 20 inch TV in the other bedroom, and a 32 inch TV in the pool table room. For those who love pool, there is a eight foot real slate and wood pool table. There is a large wrap around deck with a gas grill, and a seven person hot tub.

**Please note ***. There is a $300 security deposit required for a one night rental. This is returned in full within 7 days of check out provided there is no damage to the house.
The private community allows 8 Pool/Beach passes per rental.
There are public beaches and lakes near by that are outside of the private community that have no limit on the amount of guests

Community is private. All cars must be pre registered prior to check in. Community requires license plate number of each car and state of issue and a copy of the renters driver’s license.

Great place for group of friends

Myself and a few friends had an awesome stay here. The pool table and hot tub were awesome and the cabin is very comfortable. We cooked all weekend and had all the amenities we needed to do so. Perfect place if you want a low key getaway in the woods.

Cozy Place in the Poconos

Nestled in a mountain community, this chalet offers an opportunity to unwind. The cozy fireplace, the hot tub, the big comfortable bed, the deer in the yard, the pool table, and the ability to enjoy it with our dogs made for a very enjoyable and romantic weekend. Great fun, great house

We booked the house for a long weekend with friends and kids. We had a really great time. Everyones loved the hot tub and the pool table. Lovely space to hang out together and nice bedrooms to withdraw. Kitchen was well equipped with nice plates, glasses, pots. Everything was in good condition. We enjoyed the private community and walks to the lake as well as exploring in the area. Would definitely recommend and consider going again.

First I have to say that Lee is an absolute pleasure to work with. He replies to your questions in a timely manner and is extremely informative of the area. The house accommodated me and my 4 girlfriends for our girls getaway with plenty of room to spare. We had a great time. This is a beautiful, quiet, and relaxing place to rent and make good memories with family. Everyone slept good because it's so quiet. We played table games and a lot of pool. We all laughed and had a great time, didn't have our faces in computers. Deer and huge turkeys all over the place. The owner, Lee, was absolutely great. This house was GREAT for our celebration weekend! There were 4 of us besties and we had SO much space! The house was clean and cozy. All of the furnishings were updated and it was a really nice house to rent. We got a lot of use out of the hot tub off of the deck, too!! One night we took a short drive to Mount Airy Lodge Casino and the other night we stayed in. It was perfect for us. And Lee was GREAT to work with - he was fast and responsive and an excellent host! Best Family Birthday Getaway

Can't say enough about this home and owner. Booked a last minute getaway for my mom's 80th birthday. Lee was so accommodating and professional and he answered all my questions lightening fast! When we arrived , the house was decorated in balloons which was unexpected surprise . The house was exactly as described, and beautifully decorated. We went to a great Italian restaurant in Jim Thorpe and then sent the night at the casino. I would not rent from anyone else in the Poconos. This was truly a memorable experience.

Dear Lee, We just returned from your chalet and every person in our party, ranging in age from 16-74, had a super time. Your home is gorgeous and little extra touches (such as a parking pass waiting for us instead of us having to search out the tepee right away)made us feel very welcome. You are a wonderful host. The chalet's proximity to Skirmish was so convenient and seeing wildlife in the yard daily was special indeed. The pool table was also quite a draw. My kids are already asking if we can book another vacation in the Poconos. Thank you! Debbie

Great stay in the Poconos

The house was very comfortable and inviting, easy to get to, yet feeling "woodsy"! We enjoyed standing on the deck and watching the deer walk right below us, stopping to see who we were and if we had any treats for them. The gas fireplace was inviting in the evening to brave off the slight autumn chill, and despite the cooler temperatures, still managed to cook on the outdoors grill. There's much to do within a 30 minute drive, including the fall foliage train at Jim Thorpe, the Lehigh Gorge Bicycle Trail, the luncheon concerts at Penn's Peak, and hiking to view waterfalls. We want to return to this place again next year! Lee, the owner, wants to go out of his way to make certain that you have an enjoyable stay. He was wonderful to work with.

Rented this porperty for a trip with some friends. The house was big and very nice. We had a great time! There was some dust on the chandeliers but the general areas were pretty clean. The deck where the hot tub is could have a little more lighting and the pool sticks are a little worn out. Lee was always available through texts and very easy to work with. Except for those few details, it's an amazing property and we had a lot of fun! The beds are very comfortable, the house gets very warm with the fireplace on and the hot tub is amazing! Gotta go back in the summer to enjoy the surroundings.

Great location and property

Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Location was great. Close to PA 476 (turnpike) and I 80. Short drive to casinos, Wilkes Barre, Allentown and Philly. No major issues while there but there were a few issues the property manager should have dealt with. Propery was very clean except hot tub. Appeared to have been back washed but not vacuumed. Cover was broken and smelled though water was clean and clear. Beach and pool were beautiful and in easy walking distance. We were surprised to find pool is only opened on weekends until Father's Day (Most open Memorial Day). If the few issues I made owner aware of are corrected- would be 5 stars. Will stay here again.

Why they chose this property

I purchased the land for Hunt Lodge and had the home built from the ground up. I chose a very private location and had the house set back approximately 50 feet from the street for added Privacy . This chalet is a home away from home and designed for relaxation

What makes this property unique

My chalet features 3 bedrooms , two full baths , 2 sleeper sofas in the living room, a private deck off the master bedroom , large wrap around deck in the front , 7 person outdoor hot tub, 8 foot slate pool table , gas fire place , and it was fully renovated October 2015.
