Comfortable 90m2 apartment on the 3rd floor of a mansion near Place Pey Berland and Rue Ste Catherine. located in a quiet area, It includes: a large living room, a kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher and linen) a bathroom with bathtub and a bedroom (bed 140). Neat decoration. Restaurants, cinemas, shops, monuments and tram station nearby. I will be delighted to welcome you to my apartment and help you have a pleasant stay.

Apartment in Historical Centre

I enjoyed my stay in the apartment. Found the owner very helpful when I arrived later than expected & no luggage as it was delayed from my Paris flight. She also provided useful information about local eateries & things to do.

Long weekend

Simply a fabulous experience I found Bordeaux a wonderful place. The people were so friendly. Our accommodation was exactly what we were looking for and the location was second to none but a special mention has to go to the host. She was helpful and friendly. I can’t speak highly enough about her and where she lives

Bordeaux city visit

This city unit was ideal. Short walks to the tourist information center, Ecole du Vin, Hotel Ville, etc. While we did not use the Bordeaux city tram, there is a stop very close to the unit. Our host was outstanding especially in order to answer questions and translate French to English. She even provided several sheets of local area indoor for us, all in English.

Inmitten des historischen Stadtkerns gelegen, wohnt man in dem schönen und hellen Apartment dennoch ganz ruhig und hat einen Blick auf die Dächer der Umgebung. Schöne Einrichtung mit teils alten Möbeln und Gemälden. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die uns persönlich in Empfang genommen hat.

This charming flat has an ideal location - a block from the cathedral, in a quiet building, with fascinating shops and art nearby. Francoise is a helpful host and this is her real home, so it's complete. It is at the top of the building, a classic French courtyard apartment building.

Lovely spacious apartment, with all necessary facilities provided. Great kitchen/dining/living room space & spacious bedroom.Host met us in person & provided helpful information about Bordeaux, with recommendations for eating, shopping etc.Location could not be better - walking distance to all the sights & tram to the airport just round the corner!We found absence of a shower a little tricky, but otherwise, a great stay

First, Francoise is wonderful. She met us at the local parking office (we’re on a driving holiday through France) to help with our less-than-perfect French and ensure our needs were met. She went well beyond what I would expect of a host. She also provided a very thorough list of favorite walks, sites, restaurants, patisseries, etc. The apartment is well appointed and spacious, located less than a block from the tram stop and walking distance to the vast majority of the city’s attractions (Cathedrals, restaurants, shopping, etc.). Day trips to vineyards were easy. We truly enjoyed our stay - Francoise and the location of the apartment were a key to that.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

We feel very privileged to have stayed in Francoises’ lovely apartment in Bordeaux. She greeted us warmly and showed us around, stayed in touch to ensure we had no questions, and was very helpful with her advice on things to do. The apartment is spacious and eclectic, the epitome of shabby chic.

Perfect Location

Francois is so nice! The property is perfect for a short stay in Bordeaux. Perfect location for great places to eat, shop & explore. Keep in mind that it’s 4 flights of stairs to get up to this quaint apartment. No elevator. If that’s not an issue then it’s a perfect place. We slept very comfortably too! Not really a shower with only a tub and shower wand. My wife and I would def stay there again.

Spacious apartment near in the heart of Bordeaux

The apartment is as shown, surprisingly roomy with lots of light. It's in the bustling center of town, but we knew there would be activity at night; the bedroom faces away from the street and is quieter than the living room. LOTS of good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. This area has quite an international character, given its popularity, and is very English-friendly.

Séjour très agréable

J'ai passé une semaine très agréable. L' appartement était bien conforme à la description, propre et calme et il ne manquait absolument rien. On peut se promener à Bordeaux à pied sans souci car il est situé en centre-ville, les transports en commun (tram et bus) ne sont vraiment pas loin au besoin. La météo était au rendez-vous et je remercie Mme Magne qui m'a très gentiment accueillie. Je recommande cette location.

Außergewöhnliche Erfahrung.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete große Wohnung mit kultivierter Atmosphäre, die alle Anforderungen für Reisende erfüllt. Lage in der Innenstadt, Wohn- und Geschäftsviertel, jedoch nicht touristisch geprägt. Ruhig, zu Fuß alles zu erreichen, für entferntere Attraktionen sehr gute Verkehrsverbindungen. Die Eigentümerin erwies sich als zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, großzügig. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert und gern zu wiederholen.

believe all those top marks

When i first looked at this i was very dubious about all those top marks but here am i giving the same. If you want a negative we just weren't used to a hand-held shower in the bath nor all those stairs. But being at the top minimises the noise from the street and though you do get noise in the lounge you don't in the bedroom where it matters. So why pay a fortune for a cramped room in a bland hotel when you could enjoy living in a lovely apartment in the centre of town? And what can i say about Francoise herself? This genuinely was the nicest welcome we have had anywhere in the world.

Perfect location and most charming host!

We loved Bordeaux and this charming apt was ideally located in center of old city. The owner was lovely and welcomed us generously with a short tour of the neighbourhood. AC was an initial concern but the evening breeze cooled the apt perfectly. The view of the angel atop St-Andre’s Cathedral was stunning! Highly recommended!
