We had a fantastic stay during a busy football weekend. The house was perfectly located to get to ND campus. The bedrooms were huge and the third floor is so fun. We used the kitchen to prepare for our tailgate and it had everything we needed. Check in was super easy. The driveway accommodated several cars and we were able to very comfortably sleep 13 (we had lots of room left over).

This is a grand house! Very unique with an interesting history. The house has plenty of space and rooms for large groups. We had 18 in our group and all slept comfortably. The owner was very responsive to all questions and a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Mansion! Check in was a breeze, the house was ready for us and we enjoyed the historical property as a family. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. To the reviewer who mentioned the "smell" of the home, there were no odors that were an issue it all. It's a home from 1895 and had adorable charm. Thank you again for opening up your beautiful house to us!

The property was great for our small family reunion. The group spaces on the main level worked well. The bedrooms were all very nice. We would definitely try to stay here again if we hold another family get together in South Bend. Overall great property, highly recommend.

Stupendous stay in South Bend

The property was amazing, not only in its historic flavor but also amenities including a number of bathrooms, bedrooms, and large 3rd floor family room that hosted a family reunion of 13 adults with games, couches and even a beverage refrigerator so we wouldn't have to run down to the kitchen to replenish drinks. Host Eric was great and South Bend itself has a lot to offer for a family weekend getaway.

Wonderful family reunion!

Our family traveled from Houston, Dallas and Seattle to meet at this wonderful historic mansion! We were in town for a wedding at Notre Dame and it was just a short drive away. We were also within walking distance to great restaurants. We loved every moment of our stay and Eric was so wonderful as our Host! Definitely a 5 star review from our entire family and we would stay here again if we are ever back in South Bend!

The Rose is exquisite! Perfect location to celebrate my daughters (SMC student) birthday with family away from public due to pandemic! The home was clean, well maintained and simply stunning. We had the best time in this lovely home!! 6 mom's and 7 kids stayed for a lacrosse tournament. There was plenty of room, we loved the vibe in this house. So well kept, clean and cool! The boys had a blast upstairs, there's ping pong, basketball, darts and more. The Host Eric, was wonderful! He met my son and I at the house to show us around, definitely glad he did. The house had a very unique layout and features that we wouldn't of known without him showing us. Eric is a great host and we would 100% be booking this house again for future tournaments!! We had 11 women staying together at this property for a local convention, and it was just what we needed! We all had our own rooms, except for 4 people who still had their own beds in the upstairs loft. There was so much space! The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee. Communication with the owner was easy, and we would love to come back again!

ND Football Weekend

What a cool property! As attractive as the pictures were online, being in the house itself is even more impressive. We are group of ND grads that return for a football weekend annually. We've stayed in many different houses. This house is top-rated, per our collective opinion. The interior design is so unique, with nice furniture and accessories throughout. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Eric was also very good to work with, meeting up with the first of our group to arrive and showing them around. And it's in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance. We walked to dinner Friday night, which was a nice switch from past years' experiences.
