The kitchen was immaculate and very pretty. The bathrooms were clean as well. The carpet was vacuumed but quite old and stained. There was a musty/moldy

HI Ellen, Thank you for alerting me about the carpet (the private feedback would have been a more appropriate place to put that feedback). The carpet was actually installed in 2020 so it is not old but I do acknowledge the cabin was used heavily this year as people came in to volunteer to help the community that was devastated by hurricane Helene.
You gave us 3 stars on location even after I explained to you weeks before your arrival that that is a VRBO issue. We do not control where they put us on the map and we have asked them multiple times to fix it. I offered you the opportunity to cancel without penalty prior to your arrival as you stated it was too far away from where you wanted to be. I even tried to find you different options closer to your desired location. As for the musty smell you noted, my cleaners nor any other guests have stated that as an issue. I made sure to reconfirmed that fact with my cleaners after your review. Kindness goes a long way, maybe try that with your future hosts especially when they go out of their way to accommodate you in every way as I did.
We were in the area visiting family and the cabin was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked for anything we needed. We especially loved the screened porch and enjoyed our coffee there every morning. I hope to stay again the next time we visit.
Well-appointed kitchen made cooking meals for my local family a snap & Burnsville has an excellent grocery store! The screen porch was a favorite gathering spot when we gathered as well as comfy sectional across from fireplace. Just a perfect hilltop cabin with plenty of wildlife amid the treetops!
This was a perfect mountain getaway and we truly enjoyed the house. It truly exceeded our expectations and felt the owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property and definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Thank you Cody! We look forward to hosting you again!
We enjoyed the cabin so much. Quiet and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Enjoyed the porch and saw lots of deer! We would definitely stay here again.
Very pleasant cabin for 4 adults with well-equipped kitchen, large sectional in living area with fireplace and comfortable beds. Wonderful screened in porch overlooking the wooded mountains.
The property was very clean, updated, very well supplied, comfortable living conditions in mountain retreat. Appliances in excellent condition, comfortable furniture and bedding. Wi-Fi connection good.
My family and I stayed there for a local wedding. The cabin was a great refuge from the craziness. The manager/owner was very responsive to any questions.
Our daughter, son in law, grandkids, and boy and girl friends stayed at the house. They live in Florida, and it was so great to see them. We were glad they had a safe place to stay.
We have nothing but fantastic things to say about our experience. The location is great and beautiful. The check in and check out process are seamless. The place itself is extremely cool and caters to any needs. Hosts were friendly and communicative. I would highly recommend to anyone!
House was great. Just had 3 guys there but could comfortably had 3 couples. Kitchen was well appointed. Living area great with lots of comfortable seating. Beds very comfortable. Very scenic. Only negative, and it is not trou
The cabin was wonderful; super clean; kitchen very well equipped. My teenage children loved the loft, having their own space. I would recommend to anyone. We would love to come back.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. The location is very peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed! The kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances, pots and utensils. We both loved the screened in porch to sit and relax. We saw deer grazing in the yard. Wonderful place!
We loved spending Thanksgiving away from it all in the Edwards' little mountain getaway. Everything was perfect.
If visiting in the winter months, be sure to have a car with 4WD/equipped with proper tires. It's a steep, narrow road to get to the cabin!
