Starting Janurary 1, 2026 guests will not be permitted to smoke on the balcony , there are two areas by the pool and by the building permitting smoking.

Welcome to Tropic Isle 202.. In this newly updated unit it is a one bedroom with 1 1/2 bath. Bunk beds in the hall and a pocket door to provide privacy from the living room and kitchen area for additional sleeping pleasure while others may stay up late. The sofa turns into queen size sleeper which allows this unit to sleep 6. Enjoy your Gulf Shores vacation in this cozy condo featuring a private balcony with beautiful views of Gulf of Mexico. This unit is 0.3 miles from Hwy 59 and perfect walking distance from most local dining and shopping areas.


This complex features an outdoor heated pool, a new grilling area with 3 charcoal grills with a large sundeck. This building only has 40 units , so less people to share the pool and beach with, The building is very clean and up to date. There is a new wooden walk way for easy access to the white sandy beach

There is plenty entertainment for the kids. Waterville is a water park, petting zoo, mini golf all located along Hw.y 59

Pleasant stay. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Needs a little attention to the bathroom floor it has a few chipped areas. Couch is a little uncomfortable.

This is a very nice condo in a complex we stay at all the time. Very nicely decorated with everything we needed comfortable bed and great furniture on deck. Would absolutely stay here again when in the area.

The host was accommodating and the unit was very clean and the appliances, utilities etc were all functioning. However on the downside the unit could use some overall updating. Of particular note, the sofa was way overdue for replacement as you literally sank down into it and was very uncomfortable. Also the lazyboy had oil stains. The king mattress utilized a topper for some reason that made it too soft for us. We will be searching other units the next time we visit.

Thank you very much for your input on my Condo. I do agree with you on the recliner., and have learned that you cannot buy a cloth recliner for that reason I had it steam cleaned before you got there about three weeks, but it didn’t take out the oil stain, as we haven’t been down there in a while. I had no idea that the couch was that bad, I’ll address that issue when we go down in a week or two,

Special little place

Such a great little place! The owners thought of everything, even had sand toys, beach chairs/towels, and a umbrella. The unit to was so clean and the master mattress was amazing with good sheets. A fantastic little gem right on the beach.

This is our Happy Place!

This is our 3rd year at Tropic Isles and by far the best! We love the view of the Gulf of America, watching the dolphins, and the warm Sandy beach! We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

What a great place and such a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants! Host is very responsive and the condo was very clean and had all the accommodations needed for a week getaway at the beach. I would highly recommend and look forward to our next trip.

This condo is even better than the pictures show!It is very clean with nice & comfortable furnishings.The vanity in the bathroom is plenty big to spread out which is not always the case. it's even a plus to have a 1/2 bath.It's hard to beat the view from the balcony & being on the 2nd floor you're high enough up but can still hear the surf!The walk to the beach only takes minutes & is well worth it. The fishing was also pretty good.We didn't use the pool, but it looked very inviting.All in all, a great place to vacation!

Clean and convenient

Pros- beautiful condo, very clean (and I'm ocd about cleanliness), great location, second floor makes it easy to take stairs, great communication with owner, has everything one would need for stay and fun at the beach Cons- right above pool so be prepared for kid noise (didn't bother us, but just for one to note), needs new pillows for bed (they're very flat), water in shower is opposite than normal. Unfortunately the AC broke with two days remaining and couldn't be repaired. Chuck promptly called repairman and stayed in contact (I realize that was all he could do, things happen). Overall the stay was great and I would stay at the unit again after the air is fixed.

When we found this property , we were staying in a unit a few days , we looked at a lot of property's, then we realized, that this is the place for us, it is a small complex , so not as crowded as other places on the beach,easy access to beach with our new walkway, great location , heated pool , three grills for cooking , just a perfect place for family, or friends to enjoy the beach
