The apartment had a great location, about a 10 minute walk from the train station and an even shorter walk to the lake. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was very hospitable and had great communication. She greeted us at the property and was even able to accommodate our early arrival. The terrace outside was a peaceful place to rest at the end of the day, and even into the evening. I would happily stay here again if I ever return to Montreux!
We had the most wonderful time in Montreux. Sandrine was so helpful welcoming us to the flat. Communication was great, and she was so accommodating to our schedule. The apartment is beautiful and well appointed, loved the huge outdoor deck! great central location in town and near the train station. We will look forward to our next trip to Montreux, and this apartment.Thank you!
Property location is great. 5 minutes to lake. Apartment has a big balcony which was appreciated. Furniture is dated and makes the place less attractive. Apartment is slightly cluttered. Overall well equipped apartment. Noise level from the street is load because it is smack in the city. Apartment quite when windows are closed.
Safe, clean and as described. Quick block to lake and easy access to train. Spent the days hiking in the mountains and walking the lake, falling once and for all in love with Switzerland

Lovely apartment in a great location
The apartment was exactly as we expected from the description and photos. It was immaculate, comfortable and well maintained. The size and layout was perfect for us (couple with toddler). Plenty of room to put up a ready bed in the bedroom. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed. The only thing I would improve is the comfort of the bed and pillows for our liking but that's a minor thing.
The building was lovely and we'll maintained with easy keycode entry.
The location was perfect: 5-10 minutes walk from the station with shops and the lake just around the corner.
The owners are lovely and service was great throughout. I highly recommend this property and would be very pleased to return.
Montreux is an excellent base for a holiday. We're recommend getting the Swiss travel pass and making use of the paddle steamer cruises on the lake, the golden pass routes and the various local funiculars. The lakeside promenade is lovely. We were less impressed with visits to Lausanne and Evian. The local wine is well worth trying but go to the Coop - the deli beside the apartment is overpriced and Migros doesn't sell alcohol, which we only learnt after wandering around in confusion.

Why they chose this property
Montreux is a fascinating town. Our family has been seduced by the proximity of the lake and the mountains. The apartment is 2 minutes on foot from the beach with sunloungers and 5 minutes on foot from the old town of Montreux. Wonderful hikes are possible from the old town. In addition, touristic trains guide you to the mountain.
What makes this property unique
The apartment has the advantage of being in the centre without the noise annoyance. The building has a lift and the apartment is on the first floor. The indicated rates of the rental include the tourist tax of 9 % (of the rental rate). You boast of the Riviera Card that offers many benefits. The apartment is listed 3 stars by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
