I've stayed here twice now. The host's efforts to preserve as much as possible of the original features in this house always makes me feel like I'm coming home for a visit.
I came upon Miriam’s Guest House while browsing through Vrbo and was immediately hooked after looking at the photos of the house. We loved our stay in the comfortable and very spacious house. The location was perfect for quick drives to the grocery store and near to our families homes. If there were any way to rate it higher than 5 stars, we absolutely would.
This property was everything we needed and Carl was very helpful! Stepping into the house is like taking a step back in time. Everything was very neat and clean! I highly recommend this property!!
I stayed here for about 2 months while I was working at a hospital in the region. Carl’s place is excellent and he made sure to make it as comfortable as possible, it was real cozy and I was able to relax in the evenings. It’s super location lends itself to easy access to the gym or grocery store, and served as a great location from which one can sightsee in the region. Durango, CO, pagoda springs, Mesa Verde, are all a stones throw away. Great host!!

Bilal was a 5 star guest! He not only enjoyed the property and local amenities but he also took very good care of Miriam's Guest House.
Not far from work. Peaceful & quiet. Very cool home if you enjoy midcentury details as much as I do. Fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals, washer/dryer, everything one could need. My host Carl was very responsive & quickly dealt with any hiccups, which was much appreciated. Thoughtful of him to cover one of the windows to make it easier for me to rest during the day given I work night shift.
