This home was a perfect choice for our daughter’s wedding. Well appointed throughout the inside and outside porch. Uncle Doug loved the BlackStone do the sausage and bacon! Hot Tub perfect and private. The two large kitchen tables were fabulous enough seats to feed the entire wedding party on the big day.

We love the cabin because it has plenty of seating in the living room. We can all sit together and talk or watch tv. The bedrooms are spacious. The bathrooms could use some improvements and desperately need some new kitchen cookware. Kitchen countertops could use replacing. However the carpenter bees are terrible and there are huge holes where they have drilled. They are flying so bad you can’t get in and out without running into them. There is sawdust everywhere where they have drilled. Don’t know if the house ever been treated for them in the past but sure needs it now. We love the cabin but wondering about the structure with all the visible damage we can see.

We really appreciate your honest feedback on the areas that need attention. The bathrooms, kitchen cookware, and countertops are all on our improvement list. Regarding the carpenter bees — thank you for bringing this to our attention. We had the property treated only 3 weeks ago, but it’s clear they’ve returned and the damage has become more noticeable. We’ve contacted our licensed pest control specialist who specializes in carpenter bees and wood-boring insects. They will treat the affected areas, and apply preventive measures so this doesn’t continue. The damage due to the bees is purely cosmetic, the structural integrity of the cabin isn't in jeopardy. We’re committed to keeping our cabin safe and in excellent condition for all our guests.We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back once these updates are complete. Thank you again for staying with us and for helping us make the cabin even better. Safe travels!
