'La Barillère' is a 3 star gîte which can accommodate 6 people with 'all modern comforts', functional and quiet, located in Touraine du Sud, a region steeped in history, literature and gastronomy. Magnificently restored with ecological materials, the gîte is part of a group of buildings from an old 19th century farm. You are transported to a region rich in prehistory, close to Futuroscope, Brenne aux mille ponds and the Valley of its castles. On the ground floor there is a living room of 26 m², a separate fitted kitchen, the toilet and the shower room. Upstairs 3 attic bedrooms (1 with double bed, 1 with 2 single twin beds, 1 with 2 single beds). All rooms are equipped with a television! Cot and high chair available on request. Wifi, parking, terrace, barbecue, garden, swimming pool shared with the owner from mid-May to mid-September depending on weather conditions (access times to be checked on site).

Marvellous!

We had a wonderful time in the cottage. The house is tastefully renovated and very nicely furnished. Everything you need for your stay is there. The location is rural and quiet - just right to relax! The swimming pool is large and clean and Mrs. Jacobs is a very charming landlord, who supported us friendly and unobstrusived. From the house you can start very nice activities whether you want to visit one of the castles or you are intersted on canoeing. For us it was a perfect summer holiday.

Séjour en Tourraine

1 semaine ds un cadre calme de magnifiques points de vue dans le grand parc. Piscine accecible facilement avec de larges créneaux horaires. Juste beaucoup de mouches c'est aussi cela le "charme" de la campagne. Commerçants au grand pressigny tres agréables qui ne nous assoment pas avec les prix..un peu loin tt de même pour aller chercher son pain mais tant pis...chateau musée tres sympathique. Visite du château d Ussé la belle au bois dormant..zoo de beauval superbe les grottes petrifiantes le tout entre 40 et 60 mn et les villages alentours..marché de Loche..séjour agréable

Je suis ravie que le séjour vous a plu. C'est vrai que le calme et l'espace sont précieux pour passer des vacances détendus. Pour le pain, vous aviez la possibilité beaucoup plus proche d'aller chez le boulanger au Petit Pressigny, à un peu plus d'un kilomètre, au centre du bourg. N'hésitez pas à prévoir d'autres séjours à La Barillère - vous êtes les bienvenus !

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet agréable endroit. Le coin est très calme et idéal pour se reposer. Le logement est top et correspond bien à la description.La propriétaire est également très sympathique et accueillante.

Maison charmante, fonctionnelle, calme, présentant tout le confort nécessaire.

Rien de négatif à dire sur cette propriété, tout était parfait. La propriétaire est très sympathique, et sa demeure nous à beaucoup séduite. Le seul bémol vient d'Abritel qui nous à fait une "embrouille monstrueuse" qui manquait de tact, heureusement que la propriétaire nous à fait confiance.

Heerlijk verblijf!

We hebben geweldig genoten in het comfortabele huisje! De kinderen vonden het zwembad fantastisch en de grote tuin is een echte toegevoegde waarde. Gastvrouw Gerda is zeer gastvrij en de kids vonden haar workshop mozaiek geweldig! Midden op het platteland maar dichtbij mooie dorpjes en andere bezienswaardigheden. Echt een aanrader!

Knus huisje

Een knus huisje voor 1 gezin, daar er maar 1 badkamer en 1 toilet beschikbaar is. De WiFi werkte niet wat toch anders beschreven staat. Goede ontvangst. Zwembad niet gebruikt door weersomstandigheden.

De wifibox was inderdaad defekt en is inmiddels vervangen. Jammer genoeg was het weer zodanig slecht dat jullie de mogelijkheden buiten (tuin, barbecue, zwembad) niet hebben kunnen benutten.

Une location de qualité et au calme

Bonjour, Nous avons apprécié le lieu, le calme et l'accueil du propriétaire. Nous avons eu des informations touristiques très utiles pour notre séjour. Pour la literie, je conseillerai 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Vu les conditions météo, nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine ni la terrasse. Je vous conseille cette location de qualité. Cordialement, M. A very enjoyable experience

We loved staying at La Barillere. The kids really enjoyed the pool on site. The location is great being right in the heart of the countryside but still easy for heading in all directions to the interesting towns and villages. Gerda was very pleasant to deal with and very accomodating.
