With our 2 kids we enjoyed our stay so much. Robert and Linda are the kindest hosts and their gite is dreamy with all sorts of comfort. The pool was a big hit! There is enough to do and visit in the area.

Rural but close to amenities

Quiet location in a lovely rural setting. Very close to shops and larger towns. Well equipped gite, lovely shaded garden area and a very welcome pool as the weather was hot. Hosts very helpful but not imposing.

Thank you for bringing these points to our attention. It's a shame you didn't tell us they were such a problem and let us have access to the gite, because we could have sorted all of these points out virtually immediately. It is important to us that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Also we have a replacement fridge, another sofa and chairs available and would have been happy to change them for you. However the items that you told us about: A new fridge/freezer is installed . The upstairs shower was descaled 5 mins after you left and is working normally with a good flow of hot water. The bigger tea spoons, larger salad bowl (than is already there) and the other small items, which you mentioned to us, are in the gite. The sofa is not old, it's distressed leather and we have had no comments saying that it is uncomfortable. Unfortunately it was damaged and we had to repair it quickly but we could have changed it for you. We live in a lovely, interesting part of France in the middle of the country side with many beautiful birds ie. swallows, sparrows and nightingales which most people like but occasionally their poo can be a bit annoying. We can supply another sun shade? The swimming pool is cleaned several times, every day but we will remove the dust from the outside of the pool more frequently, so that it doesn't go into the water. The pool was heated to 30C your four week stay which, could be classed as a luxury. We send you, your family, friends and Coco the cat our best wishes. Just a reminder - In our terms and conditions we ask that if you wish to bring animals to stay - that you contact us and we will decide if we can accept the booking with them and the cost. Coco, the cat was lovely but we knew nothing about her coming to stay and you were not charged. Cordialment. Robert and Linda

Leuk verblijf

Relaxing Holiday

If you want piece and quiet for a holiday, then this is the place to go. You are a short car ride to the nearest village which has a supermarket, bakers and all the essential shops you will need. The village also hosts a vets (should you be travelling with pets). The property itself is very pretty. There is plenty of outdoor space with furniture, bbq and the pool is extremely inviting. Robert and Linda were very helpful with places to visit and answered any questions we had about the area. They were also on hand to give us an endless supply of ice as the weather was exceptionally hot. We all had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Quiet and relaxing spacious house

House located in a very ruarl quiet setting which was perfect from our point of view. Only rural sounds of birds etc. The owners Robert & Linda were very welcoming checking in to see how our day had gone for us. Also, knowledgable of the area e.g. advise on best sites attractions/to visit of which there are many within driving distance of the house. Robert & Linda also allowed us to spend some time with their dogs and as animal lovers this added to the enjoyment of our stay. We had a great holiday, thanks Robert & Linda

Perfect stay

We stayed with Robert and Linda in their lovely gite for a week and have had a perfect time . The gite is next door and they are always available for question , extra wood ,help when needed and the occasional coffee if you wanted . The are very careful not to be in your way, but be helpful. The gite is like any French home and for us that feels so rural and cosy . The big fireplace kept us during the rainy days nice and warm . The gite is well equipped and got everything you might need . We where a party of 6 and there was more than enough space and bedrooms , as well as 2 nice bathrooms and an utility space with extra toilet and shower . The garden is one of the best parts of the house nice and with beautiful view and sunset. BBQ and eat outside just perfect! The pool was even in April nice and warm and our 2 kids as well as us loved it ! Beds are nice and comfy. The area is nice small French towns all around and the bigger castles and towns between 20 min and one hour drive away , on good roads . We loved everything about it and had a nice and most of all relaxing time with our family!
