Lovely villa by the sea
My wife and I spent a super week in this villa. The decor is pleasantly neutral and the terrace, with its flower border and view of the sea, is a lovely place to relax. We didn't use the air conditioning much as we prefer the natural feeling, but when we needed it, it was good to have it there!
The walk to the beach is a little rugged, and I'm not sure I'd recommend it for elderly guests. That said, it's worth it when you get there!
Equally the supermarket is quite a distance by foot. Definitely do-able, but after the second trip carrying heavy food bags and water bottles, I was starting to wish we'd hired a car.
There isn't a huge amount to do in the immediate vicinity other than relax (though that is what we went for, so not a problem for us). There are a couple of restaurants and a fun little beach bar. Other than that, beautiful sea, good swimming and a very friendly, local vibe on the beach.
For just the two of us it was perfect (we like to have a bit of space). I'm not sure I'd take 10 adult guests as some of the bedrooms are a bit small/quirky, but the main ones are great.
Nicola who brought us to and fro the airport was great, and Philippe was helpful too. The instructions for the house are only in French, so you actually need to know more French than Italian to stay in this particular villa :)
Overall a really lovely week and we'd recommend the villa. Thanks Philippe!
