STR License # 119863 1 bedroom / 2 bath garden apartment in rear of main house. Private entrance and separate from main house. Sleeps 4. Queen bed in bedroom and a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room. We also have available 2 Twin Air Mattresses with automatic fill if guest does not wish to share beds. There is a full bathroom off of the living room and the other full bath has access from the bedroom. There is a Kitchenette with coffee/tea condiments provided. 700 sq feet. Eclectic, Retro & Cute! Courtyard with BBQ grill. Lots of Lawn furniture & umbrellas. Fire Pit with wood provided. Covered sitting porch. 2 TVs with ROKU in apartment. Internet. 7 blocks south of University Blvd off of Greensboro Ave. 12 blocks from the stadium. 2 off street parking spaces, with plenty of street parking. Beautifully landscaped. I will allow tailgating / gatherings OUTSIDE with friends, if you let me know in advance.

Family Weekend at University of Alabama

Comfortable stay and walkable to campus which was great for a football weekend. Great Southern hospitality and loved the outdoor seating in yard, also enjoyed walking to coffee shop for morning cappuccino.

Our stay was wonderful. My son and I attended a football game. We were able to easily walk to the stadium, the house was clean, cozy and comfortable. We bought groceries 2 minutes away and were close to some of the best restaurants in the area. I can't wait to go back and stay again.

LOVED every minute!

Jeanie made our stay at her property in Tuscaloosa EXTREMELY pleasant and comfortable! We felt right at home! I had an absolute blast getting to take my son, Donnie to his first Alabama football game! It was a memory I’ll never forget! I can’t recommend Jeanie Scott’s home enough! Definitely plan on returning!

I am 73 years old and retired from sales. I now am a Professional Organizer who oversees several short term rentals in Tuscaloosa year around. I have an education degree from Central Michigan University which I have not used in decades. I have 2 daughters here in Tuscaloosa who keep me active!

Why they chose this property

The home is over a hundred years old. The back unit is completely private and separate from the main house. There is a lot of outside room in the courtyard and backyard. It is still walk-able to downtown and the campus.
