A-Frame Lake House with Spectacular View!

This little gem is tucked within Mantle Manors with a gorgeous view of the lake! It boasts 2 spacious bedrooms with a king size bed in the master bedroom on the first floor. New Seally king mattress makes for a wonderful nights sleep. The downstairs master bathroom includes a stand up shower and a full jetted garden tub.

Upstairs is another full living environment with a bedroom including a queen and a full bed with vanity and another full bath. Also upstairs is a loft area including a mini-fridge with full coffee bar and sitting area. An additional day bed allows the area to be duel purposed for a 3rd bedroom if needed. This well kept house sleeps 6 easily with fully stocked kitchen, bar counter with bar stools and full sized dining room table. The kitchen includes a fully stocked coffee area with all the appliances needed to be prepared for your culinary needs.

The floor plan takes advantage of an open concept to include a sectional sofa with television entertainment area that includes a local antenna and internet fire stick to be able to view Netflix or Amazon prime. There are also a collection of DVD's to enjoy a late night movie with your loved ones. Century Link internet with modem key located in the master bedroom allows you to have unlimited access.

The sliding glass door from the living area opens to a full deck with a retractable awning roof for shade and a clean functioning BBQ with plenty of propane to be able to grill outside while enjoying the view. The privacy of over 1/3 acre with outdoor deck make for a perfect environment for family and friends of all kinds to hang out this summer, play games, bbq, swim, or just take in the view.

There is a private dock equipped with porch swings and with fishing poles included there are no excuses to not be catching cat fish right from the dock. They really start biting in the evening. Bring your water toys or ask regarding the kayaks we store on the property.

As the day turns to dusk, sit around the fire and watch the sun go down.

best vacation spot on the lake

A fabulous place to stay! Long walks, kayak trips , bird watching, only a few minutes away from restaurants; these are some of the reasons that brought us back for a third stay! The house is fully stocked with everything you might need, it's clean and comfortable , with excellant sunset views. We'd stay here again!

Love the Lake Life

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect get away with superb TLC and lots of special touches. An easy, laid back place for relaxation any time of the year. Bring some bug spray though, as there were an abundance of lake flies (not sure what they were but that’s what we called them).

Nice Getaway

This is our second time staying and LaDonna is the best hostess! She allowed us to check in early and everything was exactly as expected. You can't beat the views and it was so nice to relax for 4 days. The house is fully stocked and the bed is super comfy. We highly recommend!

Great location

My husband and I stayed here for a week and visited several towns nearby (Corsicana, Tyler, Athens, Canton). It was a great location for day trips. The house was very comfortable and clean. Everything you need and several thoughtful bonuses were provided. We did not fish but we did watch the amazing sunsets from the deck and the swings on the boathouse. Definitely would stay here again! Thanks to the owners for sharing their great house and for making our stay special.

The best vacation ever.

Our stay @ the lake house was the best, The place had plenty of everything you needed for your enjoyment.They had all the spices for a cookout, plenty of games for entertainment everything you’ll ever need and some. LaDonna you’re the best host ever. My family of 8 had plenty of room and we’re already trying to see when the next time we can come back to this beautiful, peaceful lovely place because it was the best cabin we ever stayed at.

Rest Time

Beautiful house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate and we really appreciated the attention to details and the little welcome gifts. We enjoyed fishing from the covered dock, using the kayaks provided, and the fire pit by the lake. Everything we could have needed was thought of and provided. The instructions and information were thorough, and LaDonna was very responsive to questions. We would definitely love to return!

Relaxing oasis!

We really enjoyed our stay. LaDonna was so hospitable and even said the house was ready for an early check-in, which was wonderful. The kitchen is very well stocked and the welcome basket was a great addition! The house was very clean and had a plethora of towels, blankets, and travel sized products for us to use. The grill was clean and easy to use and we loved having a blu-ray player as well as Netflix, etc. We get out of the city as often as possible to relax and recharge so we will definitely be back to catch the beautiful sunsets...hopefully soon!

The best view!

This is our third Easter at Cedar Creek Lake and third property to stay in. This views from the back deck on this place can not be beat! It was stunning. The property is older, but very well maintained and stocked. The best stocked property we have ever stayed in; don't worry if you forget something, it's more than likely already there! The location was great; easy and quick to find. The dock area was fantastic and we spent the whole day out there. Swimming, fishing, enjoying the views. Thank you for creating such an oasis!

Great Lakehouse with a Gorgeous View

We came for a few days with family to get away and relax and we were not disappointed. This is a great property. The house is spotless, and stocked with all the conveniences. The owners have truly thought of everything. We were able to fix all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and slept great at night. The highlight by far is the view. The house boasts an incredible view of the lake. From mornings on the deck to evenings out watching the sunset, the full view of the lake is worth the stay. We hated to leave! This was a great lake house.

Great View and Amenities

The property was truly amazing. Great attention was given to providing guests with everything they needed in the kitchen and bathroom areas. The welcome package was a nice surprise. There were plenty of sanitizing products available to make us feel safe. The deck had a great gas grill and provided a wonderful place to catch the sunsets. There was plenty of parking space to park our boat and trailer. Our only disappointment was the condition of the POA boat ramp which I realize is not the home owner's fault. If we rent the property again, we will look for a safer ramp. Overall, the owners are wonderful and easy to work with and the property was perfect.

Spectacular Views!

My husband and I enjoyed a couple of days at the A-Frame Lake House. Great place for a small number of people. The house was cute and comfortably furnished - the king size bed in the master was fabulous! The kitchen was generously supplied with coffee pods and creamers for the Keurig as well as other kitchen equipment and supplies including plenty of dishwasher pods. There were bathroom essentials if you forgot yours, and laundry supplies to wash your clothes as you come in from the lake. The crown jewel, however, is the backyard. The deck is fabulous whether you’re having coffee in the morning while watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds sing, or taking in the spectacular sunsets across the water in the evening! The backyard is huge and well manicured, great for kids and pets alike. The yard is fully fenced, however, the gate to the dock needs one more crossbar to be more secure. Great dock, my husband caught two nice catfish in a short amount of time. Night crawlers were even provided! Ladonna was a very gracious host, providing a nice welcome letter and clear instructions, and was very quick to respond to us. I highly recommend the A-Frame Lake House and hope to return in the future.

I could spend forever in that backyard

We had such a nice time at this property. We stayed for a week for spring break (my husband is a teacher). A few notable things: I worked from there for two days. I had no problems with WiFi, including Teams calls (though I didn't try videoconferencing). My husband also had no issue while grading student assignments. Our dog adored the large fenced yard. The large back yard overlooks the lake, and it is gorgeous. We loved being out there. It was a reasonably secure environment for our large dog who wants to escape but also doesn't want to swim. If you have a dog that wants to jump in the water to make an escape it may not work for you, but it worked well for us. There was one spot on the bottom edge of one part of the fenceline that needed attention, but speaking with the property owners I have every confidence it will be addressed long before you book a visit. The property was so well-stocked! There were K-cups, S'more makings, frozen treats, bait for fishing, abundant high-quality toilet paper, a wide variety of seasonings ... too many things to list. It was great. Having a king-sized bed is a must for me and my husband, and the king bed in the master bedroom is a gem. My husband has restless leg syndrome so I am miserable if a bed shakes; this wasn't an issue. It is softer than we were used to but clearly a good quality mattress. The property shows a bit of wear, but that in no way affects its function or detracts from the beautiful location. We loved it!

Beautiful Sunsets!

My husband and I rented this property for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house is clean and EXCEPTIONALLY well stocked. There is plenty of parking if needed and the lake views are incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the evening sunsets, cooking meals, drinking wine by the fire pit and going for walks and runs in the neighborhood. We also loved the fenced yard for our Labrador retriever. She enjoyed exploring the yard and swimming in the lake. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided clear information on the property. I highly recommend this property!

Vacation Station

This house was so great! Fit all 4 of us and two dogs comfortably. House was fully fenced in with plenty of room for the dogs to run and the host had everything we needed. It was the perfect family vacation spot and we would LOVE to stay again and again

Peaceful getaway

We stayed here for a high school fishing tournament and everything was perfect! We had plenty of room for the boats and the boat ramps are just a short distance away. They thought of everything and the sunrise and sunset is beautiful from the porch or the couch! My crew really loved the fully stocked coffee bar! The beds are all really comfortable! All in all this place is in a great location and everything the town has to offer is just a short distance away. If we are ever back on this lake this is where we will stay!

We have been married 32 years with 2 sons grown and one granddaughter born this year! We are both passionate professionals with full time careers living in Burleson, Texas with an opportunity to share a lake home with our parents who live in Altus, Oklahoma. Although they want to be silent partners we are so excited to be able to enjoy this beautiful lake with our family and with yours. We are also animal lovers with 2 cats 'Smokey and the Bandit' and our two collie young ladies 'Thelma and Louise'. They have all enjoyed the wonderful animal environment in our back yard and love the bird wildlife that frequents.

Our goal is to bring this way of life to people for an affordable price with a convenient process. We hope you enjoy your stay and make Casita Del Lago a regular destination for your lake vacations.

Why they chose this property

This is by far the most traditional A frame lake house in the general area. It is just close enough to this cute little town to be convenient but also very secluded when you arrive. Next door is the Mantle Manors Neighborhood dock with boat launch and picnic area requiring exclusive membership through POA. Access is included with your stay. It doesn't get any better than this for privacy, pleasure, and convenience.

What makes this property unique

Smart locking system allows your access without having to interact with anyone to start your stay. The code is sent one day prior to stay. A separate upstairs living space makes this especially inviting for vacationing with family or friends to be able to have their own amenities upstairs as well as on the first floor.

This property is fully fenced in the back and is one of the few properties that allow pets with additional fee. The deck entry and wrap around that opens up to the best view I have ever seen. Access to private boat launch next door included in stay. Private dock with room for your boat 20 ft or less and your jet skis allows you to be right at home to launch and keep water craft on the property..
