Secretly hidden in a dirt alleyway under an ancient black walnut tree, no one would suspect that this designers dream was tucked away. Originally built in 1920 with what appeared to be a number of remodels ranging from practical to bizarre, we took nearly a year to completely remodel the inside of this home and make it the fantastic experience you've been looking for.1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed, please ask if you have more than two. Our dog fee is $45 per dog for the entire stay. Cats are not allowed. Everything is new and designed by our local designer. If you can tear yourself away from the bathtub and luxury of this home, we are located 3 1/2 blocks from the blue turf, 1 1/2 blocks from the new Broadway Albertsons and a short $5 Uber or Bird scooter ride to Boise's downtown scene. Super easy to travel 4 blocks to Julia Davis park where Boise's zoo, bandshell and miles upon miles of greenbelt trail are located. Couple of things to note: there is NOT a washer/dryer and storage space is pretty limited - we opted to maximize the living space instead :) This is a classic college neighborhood. Very mature trees line all of the roads and there are a fair amount of young college students mixed in with older residents. Overall very nice neighborhood, but there are a few homes that could use some updating, etc. Super easy to get around by Uber/Lyft. There are scooters all over the place and there is a bus stop on Broadway about 3 blocks away or bus stops on University drive as well. If you have a car there is a two car uncovered parking space next to the home.
House Rules:
*Quiet Hours are between 9pm – 8am. *There cannot be more than 4 people in or on the property at one time and no more than 2 occupants overnight. *We do offer late check out and early check in, when possible, for a modest additional fee for our cleaners. An unplanned late check out really affects our cleaner's schedule. If you do not arrange a late checkout in advance, there is a $55 fee. If you do not checkout by noon, you will be charged an additional night's stay. *This is a non-smoking house. $500 smoke mitigation fee will apply if smoking of any variety is found. *Please remove shoes when entering the home to protect the flooring and reduce dirt intrusion. *1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed. There is a pet servicing fee of $45/pet. This is a one time charge that will be requested via the Airbnb resolution center after you have booked. Please remove any dog droppings and dog hair before checking out. If pet hair or waste causes additional cleaning expense the expense will be billed to you. If discovered any unauthorized pets will need to be immediately removed and a pet mitigation charge of $500 will apply. *Events (like a baby shower, reception, birthday party, etc) are not allowed. Unauthorized events will be subject to a minimum charge of $1500. Additional charges for damage may also apply. *Friendly reminder to please use the provided black towel for face make-up. So many of our towels and pillowcases are stained by oil based make-up and our professional laundry service can't even bust these stains. We appreciate you helping us conserve our linens. *Sometimes it's hard to know what sound level is too much so we use a noise monitoring device. It won't invade your privacy because it does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it only monitors the ambient noise level (measured in decibels). If it goes off, it gives us a chance to warn you that your sound level is such that it could upset our neighbors. *There is also a Ring camera system to monitor the outside of the home. *If a failure to follow the house rules impacts the next guest's stay and causes us to need to discount or refund that next guest you agree to be responsible for the resulting cost.

It was a great property. Close to downtown Boise which made it easy to get places and
see things. The place it self was really nice and perfect for one or two people.

The property was a really nice small house that me and my partner stayed in for a night in Boise. The house was very nicely decorated and everything was clean and up to date. Would definitely recommend staying here if you wish to be by the university.

It was a perfect little house for our 4 day stay. Very clean and nicely renovated. Close to everything in Boise. Loved the upscale Albertson right down the street as well. Will stay again when in Boise.

We enjoyed our stay. This little place made a great homebase from which to explore Boise. Not the most walkable and there was a bit more noise probably due to this being a college student area but the place was within driving distance of everything we wanted to do and we found it very cozy. Great communication from host. Pleased with our stay and loved the heated floor.

If you're looking for a quiet, cozy place with zero distractions then this is your place. The pillows were nice and thick, unlike hotel pillows that go flat when laid on. I especially liked the lighting in the bathroom perfect for makeup but is also dimmable for a relaxing bath. I should have reserved more than 3 days.

The accommodations were great. My dogs and I had a lovely overnight. Location was a bit tricky as house was located in alley but GPS showed me main house. Had to cut through their property to find it. Once found, there was alley parking for us and was a nice quiet stay

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication, location
Place was a cute as advertised
Parking was a reck, needed 2 parking places. Alley was a really tight space. A key pad check in on the door would be way better. We waited 2 hours after check in for lock box code. So we ate our appetizers out side on the tailgait. Fresh press coffee didnt work out so well for us, but Starbucks was a few blocks away. Thank goodness. It was highly needed.
But I LOVED our stay there. I couldn't have picked a better spot for a romantic get away. I highly recommend it for a quiet private hookup.

The good: No fragrances! (Except the bedding) Easy check in, great area of Boise, The bathtub, heated bathroom floor, windows for natural light, comfortable bed, cute place inside.
Pretty quiet on the nights I was there.
The bad: I had a substantial issue almost immediately upon checkin and contacted management then and again the next day and never got any response. They contacted us a couple days after checkout to say they had just noticed and were sorry.
Spiders, all over the walls and ceiling. It’s an old building (garage?) essentially in an alley so some bugs are to be expected.
Also because you’re in an alley, getting into the designated parking was tight in my crv.
Large window by the door needs a blackout curtain so the bright motion sensor lights outside don’t keep you awake at night.
