YOU NEED TO READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY!
If you are planning to rent this property you NEED to read my review before you make a decision. I booked this house for 16 people from Friday Nov 8th to the 10th. This was my experience.
1. The biggest issue is: The nice picture of the two story house with the terrace on the first floor and the balconies on the second floor with rooms overlooking the lake IS NOT where you will be staying. The property has some rooms in the back of the main house with no view and AC units that don’t work. The tower fans on each room are not enough. You really can’t sleep at night. Too hot even in November.
2. Most of these rooms include bunk beds NOT designed for adults. The space between the bottom and the top bed is so narrow that I could not sit straight in my bottom bed and I’m 5’ 4”.
3. The kitchen available for you to use is also a separate building so to go from the rooms to the kitchen you have to go outside and through the garden. If you book during rainy season good luck!! Bring your umbrella! On top of that, this kitchen is not equipped to cook a simple breakfast for 16 people. My sister who arrived later had to bring a lot of things with her.
4. I didn’t get a phone number to be able to contact somebody if we had any issues on arrival. We had them!! and the communication through the website is slower than being able to call somebody from the beginning.
5. Finally if you raise your disappointment Rocio Sanchez the contact will insult you and will expect you not to complain. Fortunately I have all the chain of emails and I will submit a formal complaint with Homeaway so they don’t allow properties like this to be offered on their website.
Home Away should make this owner remove the picture of the actual house from their description. Why should this picture be there if it’s not the place you’ll be staying in?
