The cabin was beautiful, we spent our new years week there, the cabin is about 15 min drive to Gatlinburg downtown. Take Ski Mountain Rd up to the 2nd entrance to (S Baden Rd), the (N Baden Rd) is a single dangerous road, with no rails, we had a 12 passenger tall van and felt like we were going to die, specially w them another car was coming the opposite way. We called (S Baden Rd) the safe way, because it’s double lane almost until the last road. We’re happy we found this road, because we didn’t want to leave the cabin and go thru that scary road. The only 2 things that didn’t work in the cabin, was the stove & the keurig. The letters on the stove were erased, so we had to figure out which way was high or low, and it would take a long time to cook our food. The Keurig would say it needs water but we had just added some, we would push brew and it sounded like it would brew but it wouldn’t. Overall I would recommend this cabin, close to downtown and 20-25 min drive to Pigeon Forge.
We had a great time at this home. We loved the location. The basement living area is very cozy and we spent a lot of time there. We enjoyed the hot tub especially in the snow. We would love to come back here.

Just okay.
So first of all, this cabin was in Gatlinburg and we had to drive all the way to the north side of Pigeon Forge to check in, all for a signature and copy of an ID. At first look the cabin looks cozy, however if you’re there to enjoy a the views look elsewhere. You are right on top of many other cabins and that’s exactly wha you have a view of. The cabin needs some serious work. The floors are slanted and sunken in areas and the stairs are uneven. The upstairs shower door doesn’t latch and pops open so when you shower water goes all over the floor. The downstairs has sugar ants that visit every morning and smells of sewer. We called the manager about this and the maintenance guy “checked on it.” They also need to do some serious dusting. We also would have loved to be able to enjoy the back patio in the evening but the outside light didn’t work. Again, the maintenance guy said I needed to be replaced but didn’t do anything while we were there. They were nice enough to provide a new propane tank for the grill since the one provided was empty.

Sorry that your stay wasn't what you had hoped. We are working to fix the situation.
Great location. The name of the cabin suites it well. We had four different bears (eight encounters) visit us and neighbors. One tried to open our hot tub cover, one checked out our porch and another opened ours car door. Another helped us pack up (unfortunately). Would have been very nervous had we had kids along. Need to be mindful of surroundings but we got great pics of it all
