The Mountain Mini can be booked on its own for 2 people or with the guest casita for up to 4 at an additional fee of $20 per person per night. If there are only 2 guests but the casita needs to be added, just increase the total number of guests to 3. The property is dog friendly with a fenced area, but please let us know if you are a furry friend as there is an additional one time fee of $85 that needs to be added. This can be done in cash to avoid additional taxes that get added through the system. Please no dogs on the beds or furniture. Excessive dog hair on beds or furniture will result in up to $50 deep cleaning fee. Please, no more than 2 dogs. The guest house has its own bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. It is close to hiking, biking, and horse back riding in a beautiful mountain setting, it is about an hour from the Apache Sunrise Ski resort. There is a charcoal grill and a fire pit outside. Please do not put either on the porch. You will need to buy wood if you want to use the fire pit. Wood is available at the local grocery stores. In view of the changing conditions due to the Covid-19 virus, we need to be able to space out our rental commitments in order for the cleaning crew to be able to clean safely. The cleaning fees are set by the company we use. They charge us $125 and we do not place a surcharge on this. However, they do charge extra for any stays of longer than 2 weeks - $250

So glad your Anniversary celebration was wonderful. We look forward to you returning soon.
We had an incredible stay and loved all of the amenities available. The description was right on point with what we expected. I was able to enjoy my stay with my wife, 7yr old, and dog. We all had a ton of space and loved seeing the snow. The cleanliness of the main house was definitely not what we expected. There was black long hair everywhere (even in snow on porch) and all over the floors inside. The shower looked like someone’s hair got pulled out and it was placed on the shower walls for decoration. Other than that, the stay was excellent.

I am so sorry about the cleanliness, I wish you would have spoken up sooner so we could have made it right. We use a cleaning company and do our best to ensure everything is at its best. We will definitely be looking into why the cleaning was not up to our expected levels.
Pro: seeing wildlife, centrally located, cooler weather than in Valley. Cons: had to dust/dust mop upon arrival, kitchenware greasy/dirty/or not working, bed pillows flat (I bought new pillows/toaster), uncomfortable LR futon & bed, bed sheets not washed, mops not clean (tons of dirt left on), no useful patio furniture, gas grill greasy/dirty/temp could not be adjusted & w/bird poop, weeds not treated (weeds 1' high). Had to plunger shower/bathroom sink for water to drain, dirty window/door sashes, spider webs inside/out. He had issue w/me requesting key access code changed so I would feel safe/secure in rental knowing no one had code. No mtn view, not on lake, not a comfy rental. Rented 4 wks, left after 2 wks. Owner refused to reimburse for days not used bc he states I rented during prime season (disputed w 3 different sites stating otherwise) & didn’t think his cleaner would clean this badly (disputed w pics). Other renters had similar complaints (1 needing to buy memory foam mattress topper). Number of reviews state owner very responsive-meaning they had issues, then why rate 8-10 score? Instead of owner presenting a top-notch rental would rather respond to renter’s issues. Kicker is owner stayed in rental for 2 days prior to my arrival (documented w emails) & did not see the need to call his cleaning service. I limited my complaints as I cleaned kitchenware as I needed to use and just bought toaster/pillows figuring this OWNER DOES NOT CARE about property/renters.

The renter threatened us with a negative review if we did not refund half their stay. They booked a month of high season to get a discount but only wanted to stay for 2 weeks. VRBO agreed with us that this situation is not our fault - I did change the code for her as soon as she asked, I allowed for her to buy new pillows (even though we had never had a compaint before), the beds were "too high", everything dirty never brought any of these issues up before leaving, so could not address them, but stayed for 2 weeks? After 2 weeks lots of things will get dirty. We use a professional cleaning company and have no prior complaints. The renter had requested more patio chairs which I took over 2 days before she arrived which she translates to me staying there for 2 days? I this person tries to rent you place for a long period during high season (Arizona White Mountains to get out of the 100 degree phoenix weather during August and Labor day - which anyone in Arizona knows is Peak Season - don't do it!

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The pet friendly description followed byall the pet restrictions and possible extra fees for pet hair suggest anything other the exactly pet friendly. The key box placement location description is a little unclear but not a huge deal. overall not bad just leaving an honest review. Wouldnt mind recommending to others.
We really enjoyed staying at the Tiny Home; the home was clean and we all had a great time.
We will definitely stay here again when we travel to see our brother. They even sent us a shirt that we left behind; thank you for doing this. What a blessing to have such a great place to stay.
Description was spot on. Although 399 sqft home is more than enough space for 2 people comfortably. Community is so relaxing. I can go tiny. Would highly recommend visiting if thiking about going tiny.
Our stay at the tiny house was incredibly amazing! My hubby and our 2 fur babies enjoy our stay! We were able to relax decompress and enjoy peaceful time away up north in the cooler weather! We will definitely stay again!
Super adorable and cozy with all the conveniences needed for a long or short stay. The owners are very sweet and helpful. Great of you have pets, it's all fenced in so they can run around.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is cute and bigger than we thought. It is within a tiny house community , interesting to see. The house is located close to town and to great hiking trails. At night the sky looks like a planetarium, amazing, of course we are city folks, lol. Thank you Guy and Denise for having us. Darl and Martina

Dear Martina and Darl, so glad you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back anytime and we hope to see you again soon!
What a sweet surprise to walk into the door with a hand written note from the property owner, a bottle of wine, some local coffee and some chocolates. The Mountain Mini was very clean, very cute and an overall great experience. If I had to find anything wrong, the bed wasn't the most comfortable but it won't stop me from going back.
My wife and I were looking to get a change of scenery and enjoy the outdoors. This tiny house caught our attention and it's a perfect place for a couple. It is in in excellent condition and positioned to provide a nice view of the countryside out the front door. Guy and Denise were very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed - even warning us about some weather conditions so we would be prepared. We enjoyed two days of riding trails in our RZR SxS and enjoying the views. Definitely would stay here again.
What we liked: We always appreciate places that permit pets so we could bring our dog. Self check-in was very smooth. The house has lots of natural light and makes good use of space. The furnishings seemed new, and the kitchen is surprisingly well equipped. For our two-week stay, having a washer-dryer was great. The neighborhood, made up of tiny houses, is very cute, surprisingly quiet and centrally located. What we didn't like so much: The bed was uncomfortable, kind of like a sleeper sofa. I bought an $80 memory foam topper at Walmart, which helped tremendously. During our stay it was unusually warm, and the air conditioning unit was unable to keep the home at a comfortable temperature in the afternoons. There was a persistent musty smell in the bathroom.
