What a superb apartment! 10-15 minute walk to Lake Annecy. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well stocked with kit. Homely, comfortable, spacious, practical. We’d love to visit Annecy again!

Conveniently located about 10 minute walk to the lake and to the old town. There is a mono prix supermarket 0.3 miles away as well. The apartment is spacious and there is a small terrace as well but be aware it is on a main road and so the terrace does have a lot of traffic noise. When the shutters are closed the house is pretty sound proofed so we slept well. The kitchen is well equipped. Karen is very responsive to any queries getting back really quickly by email which was really appreciated. The market opposite on the Saturday was amazing. It went on for miles! Definitely go to it if possible. Annecy is very beautiful abd worth a visit for a few days

A wonderful home base in Annecy

The apartment is in a wonderful location. Walking distance to the beach, old town, and local amenities like grocery stores, banks, and pharmacies. It's also a great apartment. Clean, well-decorated, and spacious. It was a great home base for our family, including our two young children. The new bathroom is great. It had everything we needed to cook and relax around the house, and the parking was great for easy accessibility to our car for day-trips. We will definitely be back!

France - Annecy - Alpes - Mont Blanc

Superb location! Walking distance to everywhere! The Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market directly across the street is world class. 10 minute walk to downtown Annecy: grocery stores, laundry, wine shops, boulangerie, charcuterie etc etc. Brief Driving distance to Chateau on Lac Annecy. Chaminix and the Alpes Mont Blanc are near by don’t miss it. Very safe neighborhood with friendly people. It’s a beautiful small city in France! C’est fantastique! The apt is very nice - enjoy! The One parking spot made it perfect for our Tour de France! Downtown Annecy is all one can ask for: great restaurants and shopping along the canals and Lac Annecy.

Perfect location

We had a lovely five nights in beautiful Annecy. Location of this apartment could not have been better, close to the lake and the lovely old town as well as to the station. Plenty of room including two sitting areas and good size bedrooms. Bathroom small but adequate and the toilet is separate which is handy. The kitchen light flickered a bit so we just turned it off as it was giving me a headache but it was well stocked with some handy extras. Beds comfortable and the bedrooms dark so you can get a good sleep. Once you close all the doors the bedrooms are quiet though being on a busy street the lounge room is not so quiet but not an issue. A drummer lives across the street and practises a bit but at reasonable hours and is quite good! Only minor issues I have is that things were turned off upon arrival such as the Wi-Fi and the lamp plugs were out. And the shower curtain needs cleaning it was quite dirty. But just minor ssues as this place overall is excellent and I would return.

L'appartement est très bien situé :Pas loin du centre, du vieux annecy, boulangerie la plus proche a du bon pain Dans un carrefour très passager, c'est très bruyant le soir et la nuit, c'est donc difficile de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes pour un peu de fraîcheur l'été. Literie est confortable.Cuisine bien équipée dans l'ensemble, trop peu de couverts pour 5personnes et manque de propreté dans certains tiroirs.Terrasse sympa pour petit dej le matin, une table extensible pouvant contenir 5personnes serait appréciable.La communication avec l'hôte est très bien, instructions d'arrivée et de départ très claires.Le marché du samedi matin est très sympa, grand, il s'étale dans d'autres petites rues!

Je suis désolée d'avoir déçu notre invité. Notre machine à laver et notre séche-linge sont situés à la cave et sont disponibles pour des locations de deux semaines et plus. Pour les autres il y a des lavomatiques à proximité. En ce qui concerne le bruit dans la rue, nos chambres sont de l'autre côté de l'appartement et le bruit de la rue n'est pas un problème pour dormir. Les fenêtres sont à double vitrage. Il est vrai qu’en été, il se peut qu’il y ait du bruit du côté de la terrasse pendant l'exode du lac le soir. Il est difficile d'avoir un emplacement en ville sans quelques nuisances telles que la circulation.

Annecy is absolutely gorgeous. The property was in a really great location. A short walk to the lake and old town. Not far from the train station. The apartment was clean and spacious and quite comfortable.

5 stars apartment, but read fine print

This apartment is in an excellent location for reaching both the main spots in town and the lake. Arrival instructions are impeccable and checking in is very easy. The bathrooms are nice and appeared to have been recently remodeled, with a toilet and sink that are nicely separate from the rest of the bathroom. Everything was clean and bright and the kitchen appliances worked well. There’s also more space in this flat than you’ll find in many especially at this price. Particular to this apartment, you’ll find kind neighbors and an especially wonderful market across the street on the weekend. Although there is no need for a car to explore town, we did travel there by car and the car spot is so helpful. Karen was easy to work with as we prepared for the trip. There are a few fine print details that worth knowing ahead. The concierge service mentioned in the listing means that packages of sheets are left for you to make your own bed. There’s an uncommon hot water policy (water only heated once overnight); the water was actually quite hot and ample for our group of three, but it means nervously taking showers and not washing dishes by hand in case you’ll need a late shower. That’s ok, but 1-2 dishwasher tabs on hand would be helpful so a guest isn’t buying a whole package. The flat would be improved significantly if the washer and dryer on the VRBO amenities listing were available to all guests regardless of length of stay. Finally, most of the departure instructions reflect what a good guest should be doing anyway, but this is the first time I’ve seen a request to sweep/mop when I’ve paid a cleaning fee. None of these detract from the charm or location of the flat, but are different enough from the 20 or so places we’ve stayed in the past that they’re worth mentioning as you plan.

Appartement très bien situé et confortable.

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter la ville à 5 minutes à pieds, avec un emplacement pour la voiture très appréciable ! Très bien équipé et confortable. Petit bémol le patiot : pas très bien entretenu avec mauvaises herbes et nombreux mégots de cigarettes. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui répondent rapidement aux messages.

Puisque nous sommes Américains nous ne pouvons pas y aller nous mêmes pour contrôler entièrement l'état des lieux. Les nouveaux gérants ont enlevé les mauvaises herbes ainsi que les mégots. Appartement agréable

L'appartement est trés agréable, parfait pied à terre pour visiter Annecy et ses environs. Tout l'équipement nécessaire est présent pour 4 à 5 personnes. La résidence est calme avec une place de parking réservée, obligatoire à ANNECY. Le seul petit bémol est le bruit au alentour, l'appartement étant situé à proximité d'un boulevard, mais cela reste acceptable et normal pour un logement en ville.

Bonne semaine mais !!

L’appartement est très bien situé, à 5mn du lac et du centre ville mais se trouvant sur une voie principale d’Annecy, il était impossible de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes ou d’aller dans le patio tellement le bruit et la puanteur des voitures étaient infernales. L’appartement en lui même était agréable hormis les vieilles armoires dans les chambres qui ne fermaient plus et les serrures des portes qu’il faudrait changer.. À part ces soucis nous avons passé une bonne semaine..
