Downtown Mariposa Cottage

You will love amenities like a full kitchen for gourmet meals, a nice size bedroom with a comfy pillow-top queen size bed, walk-in closet and full bath. Coffee and tea are some nice extras. This flat also has a lovely full bath with tub and shower so you can renew, refresh and take on the town. Also great for families with several parks, kids play areas, tennis and disc golf within easy walking distance.

Located in a lovely residential neighborhood in downtown Flagstaff, this is one unit in a 4-plex along with 3 other full-time vacation rentals, each with their own unique charm. Check availability for larger groups - or extend your stay in another one of our beautiful Cottages.

Your parking space is a just few steps from the private entrance. Street parking is also available in this residential area Spring through Fall. Winter parking is off street only.

Please note that this property is limited to 2 guests - this includes children. With advance notice at the time of booking, I may allow visitors. There may be an additional cleaning fee depending on circumstances. If there are more than 2 guests staying in the property or there are additional visitors without prior approval, you agree to forfeit your entire security deposit.

It was small,

It was small, quiet and clean. It was close to downtown but not walking close. One thing I didn't like is was the ROKU. It had connection issues and was more trouble then it was worth.

Great location within walking distance to the Farmer’s Market, Downtown, and restaurants. Owner is very responsive. Property was clean and I appreciated the dedicated parking spot.

Mariposa Cottage May 2022

Great size for a single or couple visit, easy walking distance to downtown, on site parking, nice features, quiet neighborhood regarding traffic and people. There is some minor noise from the nearby railway tracks (main BNSF rail line with ~100 freight trains per day) but not enough to disturb sleep as they rarely use their horns. Great hiking and park visits within easy driving (incl Sedona area).

Last minute get away

We decided on a Friday night to see about a reservation in Flagstaff on Saturday since snow was expected and found this! Nothing fancy, but everything was clean, the bed was comfy, the neighbors were friendly and it was a 10 minute walk to downtown. We would definitely stay again =)
