The house is beautiful, just as pictured. I had a few issues. First, it was HOT in the house when we arrived. There are so many unlabeled wall switches we couldn't figure out how to turn on the living room ceiling fan until later that night. The ceiling fan in the twin room is SO loud my daughter couldn't use it bc she couldn't sleep with the motor and clackety noise. The refrigerator literally read 65° and the shelves were warm to the touch. My guess now is the door was left open by the previous guest (or cleaner) bc the doors don't close easily unless you force them closed. I had to throw away any perishables left in the fridge (mayo) bc of it. There was hot air blowing out of the range hood, which she said was bc we had the whole house fan on, but the only reason we turned that on was bc the a/c had was on energy saver mode and we couldn't lower the temp. We didn't know we weren't supposed to turn it on unless it was late at night and the windows were open (and I'm like, it's 107° outside, when am I going to leave the doors and windows open?). The knobs to the light and fan on the range hood are busted. There was only 1 potholder.
We had to search for extra TP (hidden in a basket in the hall closet, NOT under the bathroom sinks where they should be). We ran out of garbage bags and I was told I can get some at the grocery store. The shower heads in master bath were nasty. The shower with 3 heads was absolutely wonderful, though. The lack of a headboard in the master bedroom was VERY uncomfortable on the hard mattress and feather pillows. My head kept sliding off the pillows and/or I could feel the table top on the back of my head and neck.
This being said, the place as a whole was clean and beautiful. The neighborhood was fairly quiet, nice neighbors, sweet neighbor cats. The back patio was fantastic! The grill was great. There are peach and apple trees in the backyard with fruit rotting on the ground. I salvaged a couple of peaches and they were delicious! I would stay here again.
