Rest and recharge at this charming seaside cabin located two miles south of Trinidad. Great romantic getaway for 1 or 2 couples. The main cabin has a one room floor plan designed by a sailor, and has a cozy, nautical vibe. The Queen-sized bed is comfortable with top notch bedding for your comfort. This cabin has one full bathroom with a walk in shower. The sitting area has a Smart T.V. for spending comfortable evenings in. There is a second detached, small bedroom with a new Queen bed offers beautiful ocean views and a 1/2 bathroom. There is a fully fenced yard for one well behaved dog. The kitchen/galley is small but fully equipped for preparing delicious meals. Together with a propane bbq for easy grilling, you may dine inside, or al fresco on the deck to the sounds and sights of the sea! As sunset approaches enjoy a glass of wine from Tepona Point, directly across the street from your private driveway. Soak up the relaxation and sweeping ocean views from the 2 person hot tub! You may never want to leave! You can relax and explore for days and never get in your car.

Take a picnic lunch to the tide pools and creek on Luffenholtz Beach, across the street from your cabin. Surf some of the best waves Northern California has to offer at Houda Point/Camel Rock, a 0.4 mile stroll down the road. Or, dare to bare at the popular (clothing optional) Baker Beach, a one-half mile walk north. One mile south Moonstone Beach, at the mouth of the Little River, is a favorite of locals (and is legendary for its hospitality to dogs!). It is known for its endless well of sea shells and sea caves. If you can tear yourself away from your cabin, a two mile ride north brings you to the charming town of Trinidad (population 304!). This seaside village provides you with all necessities, including gas, groceries, art galleries, and fine dining establishments offering local seafood, produce, and meats. It also provides one of the most pristine and spectacular viewing sites for our coastlines and migrating whales.

Spend the early morning exploring the Trinidad Pier, and watch the local fleet unload their catch of Dungeness Crab and King Salmon. Hike the spectacular trail around Trinidad Head, or one of several trails taking you north to College Cove and Elk Head. Charter a fishing boat or rent sea kayaks or stand-up paddleboards. ** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** This home IS pet friendly for 1 dog only with a pet fee. Dog must not be left unattended inside or outside of the home.

**Due to our rural area cell service receptivity may be spotty depending upon your carrier. This is beyond our control. However, guests can enable WiFi texting/calling.

GETTING AROUND:
Close proximity to ACV airport and conveniently located ¾ miles off Highway 101. However, it should be noted that Scenic Drive is a coastal road that is prone to changing conditions. In several sections the road becomes single lane, with sections of dirt or gravel. Driving slowly and with caution makes this short distance easy to navigate. All sections of the road are easily walked or biked.
